Jones will get offers from the Titans, Cowboys, and 49ers first. They actually need the depth more than the Bears. I can’t say i would be sad to see him in a Bears uni, but I wouldn’t trust him as far as Rideau or Davis to this point in his career. He half-asses it to much and i do not see his competitive desire getting more intense after kicking the ’cane.

But on that note, as exciting as Vick is, and he is exciting, I really couldnt stand the Heros welcome he got like he just got back from fighting overseas. He was in Levinworth for gods sake. Eagle fans are soo wishy washy. If he was a Giant or a Cowboy every Eagle fan would protest when he came there.

I wouldn’t mind if I thought he had a better upside than Davis/Rideau. I have watched the Jags, since they were an expansion franchise as sloppy seconds to my beloved Bears. I truly doubt Jones’ attitude, not his ability!

Which is why I commented on the facts of the man’s situation as opposed to some of the,for lack of a better word, garbage that people put out about it. Simply stating he has " a penchant for nose candy" doesn’t cut it with me,unless of course,a person had intimate knowledge of the situation. Jones may or may not be worth the effort, I don’t know. I guess the bottom line is this, if Jay wants him on the team, then by all means, lets bring him in.
