Matt Hasselbeck Has Broken Rib

The Bears seem to be catching some breaks on teams key players missing the game.  Through it isn't official yet, it seems unlikely that Seattle Seahawks' QB Matt Hasselbeck will be available for Sunday's game.  He has a broken rib.

He could still play, but I wouldn't think the Seahawks would won't to take the chance of making it worse.

If Hasselbeck can't go, backup Seneca Wallace would get the start and that would severely hamper the Seahawks pass game.

I think it's time for them to draft a new QB

The injuries are getting to be too much for hasselbeck.

We will take the break

It is a tough place to play and Seneca wallace is a bum. I think this is where we get our run game going and really get some yards. Two of their lb are injured as well so this will help. I will bet there will be a few play action plays to our wr down field in this game. Their Oline is poor and we should be able to take advantage with our front four. Hope all is well with AB for next week.

AB has an ankle sprain

Lovie just said in his press conference that he should be good to go. I also found the following from Biggs in the Times.

‘’I won’t miss nothing,‘’ Brown said. ’’Don’t worry about that.’’

He was actually in on

the play for the second missed FG. he was also walking around on the sidelines which was a great sign. It was a cheap shot ont he play he was hurt, clotheslined and bent it awkwardly it looked from the stands..

Wouldn’t be too upset if they brought him along slowly, maybe even not until after the bye week. Shouldn’t be too much need for him against the Lions? He can come back in against the Bengals and lay a few on Cedric Benson… ;-D

I don't think AB will go for that...
The only game Brown has missed in his career was the 2002 opener, when he was healthy and inactive. He has played in 113 consecutive games, the most on the team, and made 93 starts.

‘’I take unbelievable pride in that,’’ said Brown, who is sixth in franchise history with 39 ½ sacks.

I, personally, think it's a good ad.

Oops, I meant Pisa. His PCL sprain was thought to be up to 6 weeks off, I think.

I agree with that.

I want him out there, but thought Roach filled in pretty well. I’d much rather see him come back healthy, rather than making things worse down the stretch.

Hopefully

we’ll dominate them next week. No starting QB, bad O-line, and injuries to their defense should take their toll. Forte should have a field day like Gore did.

15-1!

haha…well maybe not, but i can see us making the playoffs still. the offense is going to continue to improve every week and i don’t have any serious complaints about how the D is playing.

11-5

or even 10-6 is very doable.

Lets not get over confident

Im very certain that if Hasselbeck doesnt play vs Da Bears we should have an easy win but remeber its a road game n Seattle is a tough place to play

Hopefully

getting the running game going against Seattle will give the O-line some confidence for the rest of the year.
