Marinelli Has To Be Chomping at the Bit
If you take a look at the 4 most sacked QBs in the NFL right now (Aaron Rogers-10, Brady Quinn-9, Shaun Hill-8, Brett Favre-7), they will all still have to face the Bears defense this season (and Brett, obviously twice).
There's nothing like playing against sack-prone offenses to build up confidence, and Rod Marinelli is undoubtedly going to have a field day against some of these guys. Right now, the Bears have already registered 6 sacks.
What is your analysis of the DLine so far?

Right now, we're on pace to get around 45-50 sacks this year
That would put us well ahead of last year’s pace, and probably get us into the playoffs. If Marinelli can keep ‘em fired up, it’s going to be interesting to see how many we end up with.
I'd like to see more from the tackles.
They haven’t played as poorly as some have said, but they haven’t been good either, just simply passable. One of Harrison, Harris, Adams and Idonije needs to start making plays. Anyone know what the deal with Jaron Gilbert is? Has he been active yet this year.
A lot of times, tackles get lost in the stat lines of others.
It may be that they haven’t really gotten noticed because the spot light has been on Ogunleye and Brown getting credited with most of he sacks. It seems like the tackles’ main job is to fill the lanes and clog up the middle, so others can make the plays…
Not so much in this scheme.
Tackles in this defense are supposed to make big plays, especially when they’re not nearly big enough to be lane cloggers.

DTs usually not the sack guys
I always turn to the sports section first. The sports page records people's accomplishments; the front page has nothing but man's failures.

some people seem down on harris
which i disagree with. guy is gettin double teamed almost all of the time and he is showing good lateral movement between the tackles. i think our d line so far has been very very close to outstanding. couple of booboos but hey no one is perfect

Look good overall
Marinelli has seemed to really had an impact on Brown and Wale. Harrison and Adams look solid, while Harris is getting double-teamed most of the time without great results. I give him a B+ grade so far.
