This seems glowingly optimistic
And I’m a homer.
Aromashodu with 90 yards against that secondary?
Bennet with 80 yards in any game this season?
Rodgers with fewer picks than Cutler (against our secondary)?
Dez with 0 yards receiving?
Love the optimism, but I’m biting my nails over this game.
I guess I should make a prediction if I'm going to question yours
Switch cutlers and rodgers stats.
Olsen is the leading receiver at about 70 yards.
OK with the Forte prediction. Think he’ll be a 100 ypg threat this year with more help.
Aromashodu 2 catches, 25 yards.
alex brown, 1 sack
ogunleye, 0 sacks
okay with the briggs tackles prediction. He can rattle off 10+ tackle games but I just don’t see why gb will have to go anywhere near him (our best defender) to score points
35-28 Green Bay
Boooo!
You can’t predict against your team, especially against its rival. It’s like being the Shoeless Joe Jackson of fandom. If an official set of “Fan Laws” was ever developed, a prohibition of predicting against your team would team would be in the top 10 laws. My Prediction: Bears 256, Packers -25 (but seriously, Bears 27, Packers 17).
+1
on top of that Ditka comes in, 4th quarter, scores 2 TDs, to put the Bears up 270 to -25, and in the last 3 Seconds he also sacks Rodgers for a Safety, to make the final score 272.

I Think
The Bears Defense is going to be a lot better then people think. I also look for Briggs to be freed up to cause havoc with the addition of Timo Leaning tower of Pisa.
i hope you are right dude
but the bears secondary gives me the hooboo-jeebees. especially against a good passing attack. i pray to halas that bowman can stay healthy because a corner combo of vasher and mcbride will be ugly for our beloved bears.

Unfortunately
My head says …
Green Bay – 31
Chicago – 24
Unfortunately I have big worries about the Bear defense. The secondary is a mess, and the defensive line wholly unimpressive. Rod Marinelli or no Rod Marinelli.

I agree to a point...
but understand that the GB defense is not that great. I see this more as a shake of the rust in the first quarter, say 7-3 or 6-6. As the offenses start to click i expect a few longer sustained drives in the second quarter. Now say 17-14 or 13-16 at half. The third opens with some defensive plays, like INTs or forced fumble recoveries and a TD to be had on a big play; now it’s 24-20 or 27-17. In the fourth, the dominant D will establish itself and the game winner will survive 30-27 or 31-30 on a final field goal.
Thus I predict…Bears win 31-30. The stats will work out as stats do, mostly a fool’s errand to predict that some fantasy football guy will get a few more or less points for that week, but really mean nothing to the outcome of the game.
Sleeper players-Devin Hester gets 4-5 catches for 90+yds & 1 TD and Knox returns a KO for 35+yds.
There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots.
Bears...
win in yet another nail biter… 33-31 on a Robbie “Good as” Gould 43 yrd FG.
Trust me, it will be a puker….
Where's Dez ?
While everybody is busy worrying about our #1 receiver Olsen, Dez will end up with a better result at the end of the night I think. Definite candidate for a sneaky TD in the back of the endzone. Bears win 27-24 or 30-27. Either Forte or Cutler breaks their leg, because this is the Bears and it’s all too good to be true. Plus I’ve got 50 Euro at 22-1 on the Bears …

22 to 1?!?
You mean you get 1100 Euro when the Bears win? Does that mean you’ll send your buddies here (along with the clever guy that came up with this idea) 20 Euro for beer for the Steelers game?
an example of a Bear fan thinking with his heart and not his head
