How many years have we pined for a real Offensive Coordinator? Think about the years of John Shoop, Terry Shea, and Gary Crowton. We all gritted our teach at the hiring of a rehashed Ron Turner as well. But for the first time in decades we are at the brink of hiring a real OC. Think of the names we are hearing tossed around in the last 24hrs... Jeremy Bates, Mike Martz, Charlie Weis, and Jim Fassel. Really?

Folks, these were the type of names we dreamed about for years! I know that right now we're all upset about Lovie's stubbornness and the ineptness of his defense and upper management so trust me, changes still need to be made. But for one moment allow yourself an opportunity to smile at the thought of a foundation being laid for a real offense for our real Quarterback. A new legit offensive coordinator allows not only the chance for better play calling but also offers a voice on draft day. So maybe instead of taking Juaqin Iglesius in the 3rd round and red shirting him, we take a Austin Collie who was taken in the 4th round and actually PLAY him.

So hey be upset. It's our jobs as fans to do so when required. But also look at some of the positives this change could mean for the future. I think some good did actually come out of yesterday's mess.
