Well, the Bears started last season 3-1 heading into the bye week. During the week off, chicagobears.com ran a story about how the offense was using the time off for "self-evaluation". Apparently, Ron Turner did such a great job with this, that the Bears went on to lose eight of their next ten games.
Call me crazy, but I don't see that happening in the 2010 campaign. This team is different. This team is finding ways to win. The offense has answered every time they have trailed. They are adjusting to what is thrown at them. They are playing aggressively as well as intelligently to this point in the season. Anyone else notice the lack of false starts and fullback dives? I have been ecstatic with the fact that, for the most part, the personnel is being used in the correct capacities.
The general feeling around the League is that we are an undeserved 3-0. We stole a game from Detroit. Dallas lost the game more so than the Bears won it and Green Bay beat themselves. No one outside of Bears fans can give the team any credit in any way, shape or form. That's fine. I actually prefer it that way. I can't wait to hear more excuses.
Don't get me wrong, I understand there are issues. Too many, in fact, to get into in a FanPost.
The fact of the matter is that this team is only 3 games into a new offense and new offensive coordinator. What will the results be when they actually know the offense?
