Hey, hey, hey! 4-1 sounds good to me!

It feels good to be coming off an old school win, like we had on Sunday. We ran the football well -- We played good defense -- And we were solid on special teams. I’m SO excited about this win.

I’m also happy I was able to get back to see my Panthers, again. Sure, I love’em, but - I gotta be honest - being able to beat them felt pretty good - especially defensively.

Our offense got off to a great start -- Wait, I mean an EXCELLENT start. You couldn’t have scripted a better beginning to the game! Our guys showed that they can run the ball, which is something we’re going to have to a lot of later on in the season. It’s comforting knowing that we’re going to have that aspect of our game under control.

Defensively, we were able to get three takeaways, which is big. And we were able to control their running game, which was a one of our goals coming into the game. We wanted to put the ball in the hands of their rookie quarterback, Jimmy Clausen, and their two young receivers, as much as possible. We managed to do just that, so we were able to get the results we wanted.

Like I said... 4-1 sounds good to me! Now we have to get ready to host Seattle, so we can get to 5-1. Until then, keep BEARIN' DOWN!
