First!
Go jets and patriots, one of the few times that I’m rooting for the latter. The good news is that the bears won’t lose a game this week.

Haha, well the game against Atlanta is obviously a misprint. Nonetheless, it’s gonna be tough sledding for sf this season. I expect Seattle to take the division.

Ho-hum games so far
Does anyone know if the Niners get most of the revenue from their “home” game in London? That would suck for the franchise, season ticket holders, and general fans.

The Bears would be 5-2 right now if another coach was here. If the team comes out flat and loses versus the Bills, watch out Lovie.

Did
you know, that from what I understand, Lovie gave the team a 3 day weekend….Heard that on CTL…..Was like ok….granted dont know what players are doing during that 3 day break but the fact that Lovie gave them 3 days (especially the offense) is just argh….
Also Tice went to Lovie and said this is not what I signed up for (ie pass heavy offense) and thought that He and Martz were to far apart on offensive schemes / philosophy….That was mentioned on the score….Nice eh?

The first part, yes.
That’s typical during a bye week, but the second part is very alarming. Some pundits predicted it may become a problem cause it curbs the development of the Bears very young O-line. It’s also no secret that Lovie has been horrible managing and picking his assistants.

Jets have to win this game!
GB will be in first place if they win this game (Obviously). Why are we so negative about the game next week against buffalo. We are good team, not great but, good. If we shore up a couple of things on offense we will be fine. Our defense will keep us in the game as long as the offense puts up 17 plus points a game. That is not asking the offense to do too much.
Jets are beating themselves....
Mentally and physically! They need to get their crap together and win this game.
So much for Orton
not being able to throw the deep ball. Lloyd to the one. Tebow runs it in for the score and vultures a score from my FF QB.
"Wish the opposite sex operated like NFL redzone does. Just let me know when I’m about to score, otherwise, don’t bother me." - Jenn Sterger
ortons
deep ball has been pretty good so far this year from the games I do catch of him….orton and lloyd still have that chemistry that they created when they were in Chicago…Still looks for the bail out to often though….But dont know if its him or mickeyD’s playcalling TBH….Plus orton is still a statue in the pocket and goes down a tad easy at times….Not only would orton be dead here but the sacks would be in the 50+ range going into the bye week IMO….

Depends on the offense
He’d definitely be “checkdown charlie,” but I don’t believe Martz would be here if Orton was still here. If he was, he might already be in a body bag.

It's a strange situation
He’s got loads of talent on offense, but they can’t seem to put it all together. They have a top-5 RB, top-2 TE, a highly talented young WR, and a stacked O-line with first-round draft picks.
That’s why QB is the most important position on the field.

Receivers!
Bottom line, our WR are the type that has to get the ball passed to them perfectly without any impeding by the defense. They do not go up and fight for the ball and they shy away from contact. Too many times they allow the defense to jump their route or direct them off their route. The O-line is another discussion.

Sexy turnover = typical bears move
for those of you who didn’t see it, make sure you watch sportscenter or find the play on youtube, it is worth it. Skins needed a TD to win and with ~1:45 to go put in sexy for no apparent reason (McNabb didn’t appear to be hurt). Announcers chatting it up on how sexy knows the offense better then mccabb. As sexy dropped back he was hit while trying to throw causing a fumble and a TD by suh. Even though Suh was being an asshat by celebrating on the 5 he still got in. Play upheld on the review.

i'm hoping he survives
the season is still a win if the bears cause him to break his ironman streak
buff
takes KC to the limit only to lose…..Hmmm…..
That's it! See, at first I thought it was hate, too. Hate was all I knew, it built my world, it imprisoned me, taught me how to eat, how to drink, how to breathe. I thought I'd die with all my hate in my veins. But I realized it was loathing.

Kind of hard to nail Lovie for his non-challenge at the goal line
when the refs just blew a challenge for the Pats.
Yeah but it worked!
without the delay of game by washington
does anyone even think about the non-challenge?
as a play by itself, it was a bad call. But in a big picture look? not really that horrible, to me. at least.
Nobody who ever gave his best regretted it. -George Halas
no its not
what is even worse was the challenge before that

- Entire kool aid drinkin' Pride of Detroit site-
No it wasn't. Know why?
Because Lovie challenged the first one because of the team’s failure to score at the goal line. So what happens on the next play? Cutler fumbles. So Lovie was actually validated for challenging the first one because his team does suck at the goaline and Cutler proved it by fumbling.
Yeah but it worked!
yeah, but in fairness
that ex-head of officiating guy called it a clear TD. i’d rather take the chance with the officials on that call
no its not
id rather blame the refs then lovie, wish he would give us that chance
Why the hell are the cardinals wearing black uniforms

cause their qb cant hit a guy in red to save his life
fitz is killing my fantasy team
Seriously
I benched and put fitz on the trading block cause he just does not have a QB that can get him the ball IMO….Already saw reports that he might ask to be traded in the offseason because he was irate at the offense @ profootball talk….

You're confusing him with his father, Marty Brenneman.

Oline...
WOW!!! To Brady has like 6-8 seconds to throw the ball every time in the pocket. He really does not have to move. It ain’t like he can scramble anyway. No wonder he is so good.

As much as I am supposed to hate Favre...
Gotta feel sorry for him when I saw the video of him being carted off the field.

I did think it was a broken jaw though
The guy is a pain in the ass, but it would suck to see him end his career like that.
Now that I know it is just a big cut on his chin or something like that, I feel less bad.

C'mon man.
I don’t care how much you don’t like opposing players. Cheering for injuries is low class.
When you go to somebody's house, you don't crap on their floor. Being a fan of one team does NOT give you license to be a dick to fans of another.
Corollary: When people are visiting your house and behaving themselves, them being a fan of a different team is NOT a reason for you to piss in their beer.

I am not cheering for him to get hurt
but I have no sympathy for a guy who does has glamorized himself, embarrassed the league and teammates, and has trashed his own legacy while putting the league and it’s entire fanbase through his friggin soap opera every year. He is on the perfect franchise though. It’s called bad ju ju and he has brought it upon himself..

I'm self-imposing a ban on ever visiting the Vikes site
again, I mean; as much as I enjoy reveling in their misery (silently, I have no desire to even join over there so that I could comment) that enjoyment is usually overridden by their ref blaming and self-righteous craziness. The site manager is up and arms about people booing Favre as he got carted off the field to which I say “Big Fucking Deal”; site manager is telling everyone he’ll ban them for saying anything about enjoying seeing Favre leave the field, blah blah blah. THAT’S FOOTBALL! You want to see the other guy’s QB take a knockout shot, or any of their stars.
He is an ass clown
just read some of his immature comments to people. Did he ever hear of taking the high road?? I can’t believe that he is older than 15 years old..His latest " Piss off loser" is classic gates.
