Do you have a fun and creative idea for a Bears-related photoshop? If so, send it to me by email or twitter. If it passes WCG's 34-step approval process, I'll see what I can come up with (and give you full credit for it).

No need to hype you this week, everybody already knows. And if they don’t I’m gonna punch them in the jejunum.

Exactly, thanks for the back up.

Please:
No more mentions of “jejunum”, “duodenum” and “back up” in the same thread ever again for many reasons on multiple levels. Thank you.

childress
…looks like Wally Cox to me…did the voice for the old Underdog cartoon series.

You and I
may be the only ones here old enough to know “Wally Cox” and “Underdog”.
Chilly always reminded me of Spiderman’s nemesis The Vulture from the original comic book. Anytime I see him lose it on the sidelines I expect to see him “pecking” a ref.

Trust me, you aren't.
“Underdog” was good stuff.

I'm only 20 but I know all about Underdog
I used to watch that and Rocky and Bullwinkle back when I was little when the cartoon reruns were still on.
(Asshole Sr) "If you learn one thing here, NEVER pass out in Ohio."
Ah yes the Vulture!
If only we could get Lovie to dress up in his Spidey suit when next we play the Vikings….

I remember Underdog!
And I’m 23… haha.

Anybody remember
Mighty Mouse? I had the VHS as a kid and watched it SOOO many times…

VHS didn't exist when I was a kid.
We did get color TV when I was 13 but it had been around for awhile. Quite frankly, the new cartoons are just as good or at least more geared towards an adult sense of humor. I love Spongebob Squarepants and not just because I have a 7 year old….
If you can't laugh at yourself you must not be very funny.
I remain a pessimistically hopeful Bears fan.
i really had a thing for mighty mouse's girlfriend, Pearl Pureheart
…but i knew he would kick my ass if i hit on her. she wore chunky high heel pumps and lipstick

I remember her.

Hahaha
Is it bad that I can remember almost all of that theme song off the top of my head?
“Hong Kong Phooey… number one super guy… Hong Kong Phooey… faster than the human eye…” Hahaha

There's no need to fear...
old gen-x cartoon guys are here! Fractured Fairytales, Tennessee Tuxedo and Chumly, Commander McBragg. Made my lunch hours tolerable back on the old WFLD (aka Fox 32). One of the few things good about the 70s!
IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO TRADE TOMMIE!...
I BET. IT ALL.
well, maybe a bit more like byet.
Still.
On topic…ish… The pats would have gotten a 5th round pick for moss as a comp pick… whereas they got a 3rd by dealing him to Minny.
Five foot three seems to thrive on his misery...
I think I speak for everyone
when I say….we all strive to wear a purple warm-up jacket with a sweet butterfly collared shirt, while gambling, when we grow old.
Another great one cheekymonkeyart!

Would it look anything like his happy, sad, or challenge face?
David Taylor's personal hype man. Check out his website unless you're a loser. http://www.cheekymonkeyart.com/
Challenge face
No, there is definately a difference in his challenge face then the others. You can see a hint of hope, that “I might actually win this one” kind-of-look. When he loses, he goes back to his usual empty expression.

Speaking of cartoons...and the blindside
Does anyone else remember Heathcliff and Riff Raff? I think Mungo would be pretty good on the oline…granted not too bright, but he’s a big boy.

I know the “Catillac Cats” do not sound as intimidating as the “Junkyard Dogs,” but I work in San Francisco quite a bit and some of my mates here are already calling us “cats” (self edit). And their 49ers are 0-4 with Singletary screaming down their necks. And, again, they’re from San Francisco.
One more thing. Is anyone familiar with some of the old clip art pictures in powerpoint. There was one bald guy with a mustache that I remember always seeing in presentations. spitting image of Childress. Kinda like this, but even better.

I would kill to find a picture of this cartoon guy, but it’s late and I’ve GTS’ed (Googled that S**t – yes I’ve copyrighted it) enough for one night.
Bear Down!
PS – Does anyone else think we should give JA’s job to Sandra Bullock and make the whole OLine watch the Blindside over and over again until they finally gel?
Put Murray In!
