Chicago Breaking Sports is reporting that discussions are being held about signing 34 year old Alfonso Boone. Boone, the ex-Bear Defensive Tackle, was released Wednesday by the San Diego Chargers.
Boone would be returning to the Bears, where he played for seven seasons, before being traded to the Buffalo Bills, then San Diego.
As of this writing, there is no word on the return of James 'Big Cat' Williams, to the beleaguered offensive line.
