Week 10: Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears Open Thread

Week 10
Minnesota Vikings (3-5)
Chicago Bears (5-3)
Date: November 14th, 2010 Location: Chicago, IL
Time: 1pm ET ( 12pm CT) Stadium: Soldier Field
TV: FOX(Tv Maps Here) The Doomed: Daily Norseman
Injury Report:
nfl.com Gamecenter Forecast: 45°, Partly Cloudy

I see what you're saying. This game is important. There's not much else I can say besides that. Though, I do wish that Sidney Rice was playing, and that we had a cornerback named White. Then we could hear "White on Rice" all game.

Go Bears!

They are actually airing this game in AZ too, so there is finally a Bears game I can watch without having to find some feed online, or waiting for one of the primetime games where Cutlers night blindness or whatever it is coming into play…

Woohoo

Kenny Albert, Daryl Johnston, Tony Siragusa calling the game…..

Also Mike Brown in the stands behind the Bears bench…..

That's it! See, at first I thought it was hate, too. Hate was all I knew, it built my world, it imprisoned me, taught me how to eat, how to drink, how to breathe. I thought I'd die with all my hate in my veins. But I realized it was loathing.

I've been waiting to see Moose and Goose call a Bears game all season ^_^

My favorite games of the classic 06 season were the ones where those two were on the field. Goose is very good at explaining linework, which is important between these two teams.

Hopefully Tillman isn't matched up with Harvin

Moore and Jennings should shadow him everywhere.

"He's a great candidate," Ryan said. "If I hadn't made him drop in coverage so often on running backs, he might be the all-time sack leader. They call it zone blitzing nowadays. We called it, 'Richard, pick him up.'" - Buddy Ryan on Richard Dent's HOF chances.

Berrian isn't capable of that

He’s never been a good overall WR. I’d take my chances with him to help slow down Harvin.

I really want to know whose wife Dez Clark slept with. He’s probably our best all-around TE, one of our better skill players, and he’s been DNP-CD for basically the entire season. Do we really want more Brandon Manufcukhesux out there? I, for one, have seen more than enough of his terribleness to take a pass on him for the rest of the season. We know what we have in Dez. Good at virtually everything, great at very little, leaves everything on the field every day no matter what. Sticky hands, which we need on the goalline, precise route runner, strong and quick enough to take on most DEs in the NFL, and plays LBs competently. Why he’s never on the field is a complete mystery to me…

Stop the run.

Nothing else matters.

If you can't laugh at yourself you must not be very funny.
I remain a pessimistically hopeful Bears fan.

emo lol

If by emo you mean true then yes.

Stop the run, force Favre to pass. Shake him up. Get turnovers.

Running successfully leads to passing successfully.

If you can't laugh at yourself you must not be very funny.

well so far

we’re getting killed on stupid mistakes. two slips by hester, forte not holding on to a screen, knox not holding on to the ball, and a few bad holds, esp jennings (did he actually hold? no replays on that play). not so much what the vikings are doing as much as our screw ups…argh…
