At last the Favres got nothing on that drive.

Lifelong Arizona Cardinals/Chicago Bears fan [I have always lived in Arizona, dad is from Chicago].

I can't stand fair-weather/bandwagon fans, stick with your team(s), throughout the good and the bad. And don't switch to whichever team wins the Super Bowl each year.

Fuck the Favres

Crusty old man throwing on a bad foot, hoping to God no more pictures of his donniker make it on the internets.

For people saying Cutler = grossman I SAY NO

Nothing like grossman at all….rex wants to unleash his dragon and throw 50 yard bombs for INTs…..Cutler can actually march you down the field and then crush your heart (like the Cubs in the playoffs) with redzone INTs……

a tie only would give us a half game lead in the division (with a win against Miami) while a purple win means a full game cushion.

Something to chew on....

The Bears are tied by record with Green Bay, and leading the division via tiebreaker with a win over said Pack. That means that 9 games into the season, the Bears are in control of their own destiny. The defense is clicking on all cylinders. The offensive line actually looks better than worst in the league, and Cutler is limiting mistakes.

How many of us honestly thought that Chicago would be in the drivers seat for the division at the beginning of the season? Or even 2 weeks ago?

The only real mistake that I thought....

was noteworthy was the endzone INT. And even that was Cutler believing in his arm the same way he did with the Olsen TD. The difference between genius and Idiocy is execution. Had he threaded the needle on that pass, it would have been called genius.

I was pretty pleased with Jays play, the line’s play, the playcalling, the defensive play, hris Harris ending another game with an INT and the Beastliness that is Lance Briggs, who I thought had his bet game in years.

Every throw into double (or Triple coverage) is not a bad decision.

Take the Olsen TD, for example. It’s a bad decision when you place the ball where those defenders can get it easier than the WR. Good QBs will make a lot of throw into double and even triple coverage, especially if they trust the receiver.

That the hazard of confidence. But not having that confidence is even worse.

While the Olsen

TD was in triple coverage he was in front of 2 of them and ahead of the other…..I do agree with you about having the confidence in your arm bit but that Redzone INT could have been killer….Dont get me wrong I am no Cutler hater and not one of the OMG WE GOT RID OF oRTON FOR this guy or we got screwed in that (herschel walker) trade….. but he does make bad choices that pull your hair out as a fan…..But eh…..We won today no more Cutler talk from me cause I love me some Cutler (today)…..

i am happy and surprised by the outcome

I thought we had a chance to win, but I didn’t think we’d lead for so long on the way there.

I am very happy to see that Martz and Cutler have scaled back their ambitions to reality, and that it’s working out nicely. Taylor and Forte clearly help each other out. The defense is, well, why we’ve always loved the Bears D.

The one big mistake was that endzone pick by Cutler (that could have been run in, or just kicked through), and even that ended up being forgivable. I find the 10+ penalties far more frustrating. Fortunately, both issues can be worked on.

As much as I believe it’s time to find a punter to replace Maynard next season, he proved at least twice tonight that his presence of mind is a significant argument in his favor, even though he’s aging.

Overall, I has a happy. Go Bears!

Well, I'm sure I'd feel much worse if I weren't under such heavy sedation.

Time to change the sig. Care to give me the exact phrasing?

When you go to somebody's house, you don't crap on their floor. Being a fan of one team does NOT give you license to be a dick to fans of another.

Corollary: When people are visiting your house and behaving themselves, them being a fan of a different team is NOT a reason for you to piss in their beer.

If not for the penalties and one Jay lapse, they would’ve spanked the Vikes.
