Oh, MAN -- That was a heckuva game! This division match-up was a must-win for us. The win brought us back to first place, with a 6-3 record, which is huge for us with Green Bay not playing this week.

This might have been the most complete game we’ve played all season. All three phases - offense, defense and special teams - were on point. And then there was the 4th Phase... They, too, were in full effect, Sunday afternoon.

I feel like we did a great job of shutting down their running game, by only allowing them around 70 yards. As far as limiting their passing game, we managed to keep their amount of yards thrown down around 170, which is big for us - especially against Brett Favre, who put up - something like - 440 yards, last week.

Like I said in Friday’s game preview, we feel that if we’re to be successful, we have to take the ball away from the offense, at least, 3 times per game. Well, we managed to run away with 4 takeaways on Sunday (3 interceptions and 1 forced fumble). ...Looks like our formula for success proved itself as effective.

We’ve got a quick turnaround this week, with us heading to Miami for a Thursday night game. So it looks like Tuesday is when we’ll be able to get in our only day of practice, because Wednesday will be spent traveling. But the quick turnaround doesn’t concern us. We’re gonna be ready for this big game, because it’s an important one we need to win. We’re trying to make this championship run towards the Super Bowl, so as long as we BEAR DOWN, BEAR DOWN and BEAR DOWN some more, our scope will stay fixated on that Dallas destination...
