Bears LB Pisa Tinoisamoa Ruled Out Thursday Versus Dolphins
Reports are surfacing that Bears LB Pisa Tinoisamoa will not play tomorrow night versus the Dolphins due to a knee injury. Tinoisamoa missed most of last season with knee issues, and had surgery this past offseason. He has been overshadowed by MLB Brian Urlacher and WLB Lance Briggs most of the year, but his presence has been made known on the field nonetheless.
There are no reports currently outlining the seriousness of the injury, but we will keep you in the loop once we find out more. Expect to see the underrated Nick Roach in his place tomorrow.

Roach will be fine
He has the speed, Pisa just brings more of a thump with his hits.
If you go in the bathroom, turn off the lights, and say "Da Coach" 5 times while facing the mirror... Ditka will appear and slap the wussy right out of you.

Our LB's are deep so if we took a hit anywhere that wouldn't see much drop off
it’d be them. I do think the 3 of them were playing very well together but Roach isn’t a slouch and will do fine.

Not much drop off, true
but I’d still lean toward Pisa.

I agree.....
While Babich sucked as a (puppet) DC, he might be the best LB coach in the game. Our LB core is a consistent strength and is consistently deep. Roach will be fine. The thing that bothers me is if turns into a more serious injury to Pisa’s knee than first reported, and with H² already done for the season, our depth is seriously diminished. That could pose problems if more injuries present themselves in the LB ranks.

That sucks.
According to ESPN, Biggs and other media reports said the Bears had a full participation yesterday.

Tino is awesome
but, I’m actually looking forward to Roach getting in and showing he deserves to play. He’s been good everytime he has been given the opportunity. Tino will use the extra time to heal for the Eagles game.
Thats okay, Roach is solid
Plus our nickle package with DJ has been pretty sick, I think we were in that package a lot last week so I bet we’ll see it a lot this week

i just hope that it
is nothing serious and he can go in time to face vick
Rick Noach is da man!
I thought after last season, he’d for sure be in the starting line-up this year. I don’t see this being a drop off, maybe even an improvement. It’s a toss-up between Pisa and him. I love ‘em both, but think Roach’s youth is to his advantage.

Has this been verified Anywhere?
… Or is it just something that is floated out there by an anonymous source?

Having to start Roach didn't worry me.
Either way, they’re both solid “Sams.” IMO, linebacker is probably the Bears’ deepest position.
