Three more days:
Then I can change my sig back.
On the Webb front, I will say that during the pre-season, he looked better with the third stringers than T-Jack did with the first stringers. It’s not gonna be good weather for a QB, but I am interested in watching him play.
That said, I’ll not be watching the game as I have other plans. Thank god for TiVo.

Pisa
I’m a little concerned about him playing, with his knee hitting this possibly concrete hard surface… do we really need him to play that badly?

I was thinking exactly the same thing. Why would they play him in this?
And here’s another thought. What will it take for the Bears to pull Cutler, Pep, Lach, Briggs, Forte and other important players out of this game. I am really hoping we start this one out the way the Pats started out against us and Lovie pulls some of the franchise cogs out to avoid injury.

Practicing indoors
does seem counter productive, when you’re gonna be dealing with sub-zero wind chills. Well, we’re gonna get at least one practice outside. Typical Lovie.
Yes
but I thought they practiced outside all week prepping for NE, look at how good that did them

Official grossman to start over mcnabb
For those with invested interest or care……
I want history to erase his every achievement.....I want him to feel the disgust in the bronco fans eyes when they look on him in shame....

The Redskins are going downfield.
If I did what I love for a living, what would I do in my free time?

Should I bench vick

Shannahan's will have that guy in the Pro-Bowl
You wait and see. LOL. Next year his numbers will look something like this:
YDS – 7983
TD – 58
INTs – 1
Rushing Yards – 456
Games Started – 2
Record 16-0
MVP

What?! No that cant be OUR Rex Grossman
Did Shany inject him with some of that stardom he gave to Elway? He can’t be Grossman, can he?
My projections for the REAL Grossman
YDS-0000
TDs-58 (to the other team)
INTs-(see above)
Rushing Yards- (-456)
Games started-2
Record- 0-16
Now thats more like it!

Has Mike Shanahan lost his mind?
Remember when a lot of people were hoping he’d come here if Lovie got the axe? Perhaps we dodged a bullet…..
by David in Maine on Dec 17, 2010 12:35 PM CST up reply actions
Andy Reid not only thought the same thing as Shanahan apparently does,
but had s much confidence in himself that he traded McNabb within his division. To me, that speaks volumes… no way I’d second guess an opinion held by both Andy Reid and Mike Shanahan.
This↑
Why is it that the media is all about how Shanny is disrespecting McNabb? Isn’t it time for them to look a the future with the playoffs out of the picture? And why is it disrespectful for Shanny when none of them came out talking “direspectful” when Reid did the same thing a few times.
I like McNabb, and I think he’s a class act. But he is not the Redskins, and no man is bigger than the team. Shanny needs to do what is most important for the team, and Reid would certainly agree.

McNabb's agent simply wants attention for McNabb
Shanny has gumped up but really if McNabb isn’t returning then whats the point about playing him for the last 3 games?

Well done with the 5 questions on the DailyNorseman. The guy’s apparent defensiveness on your “$500 per football” comment was somewhat alarming. Correct me if I’m wrong, but you never said Favre was greedy…did you? Did you even insinuate that? It appeared to me that you were commenting more on Favre narcissism more than anything else…

I want to read this...
But I don’t want to give the Norseman a hit. Decisions decisions.

2 of 5 for 8 yards
That scares me (sarcasm). But the Defense should still prepare as if they are facing Michael Vick and should take a similar approach.
Yes and no
Yes we still need to take Webb’s mobilty into account. But no we dont need the safeties lining up 20 yards of the line. Harvin is fast but of all things the snow ( surprize) will slow them down. Plus Webb is neither as athletic nor does he have an arm anywhere close to Vick.

Just like Drew Stanton didn’t scare us huh? Look what that guy did to us. Made us look bad.
by Jonathan Heun Jr on Dec 17, 2010 8:04 PM CST up reply actions
True
But Drew Stanton also had Megatron on his side, and a much better arm.
