monday night

A fast start will be the key to this one, 10-0, 14-0, make them one-dimensional and cause the QB to throw more often.

Ha was just about to post this newsbit

You beat me to the punch. Anyways this coupled with Rodgers being out against the Pats this is our time to rise. Its our time to take back what is ours!

Get ready for a big dose of Adrian Peterson.

If the Bears lose this game the entire coaching staff should be shot at the 50 yard line and left to rot. Seriously.

by BigGeorgeTX on Dec 18, 2010 3:12 PM CST reply actions

No, I don't think that was harsh enough.

Knee cap the entire team then stone the coaching staff (and not in that fun 60’s way).

(that was sarcastic for those who are offended by things concerning… nevermind)

If you can't laugh at yourself you must not be very funny.
I remain a pessimistically hopeful Bears fan.

I think they would rather be shot

In less than a season, look what Snyder has done to Shanahan, they’re going to start Rex Grossman because “he has a better grasp of the offense”.

But does he have a better grasp of the football?

Snort!!
But does he have a better grasp of the football?

Good one.

You mean Tavaris?

I'm not so mean. I wouldn't ever go out to hurt anybody deliberately - unless it was, you know, important, like a league game or something. - Dick Butkus

Nope.

Fantasy my friend. Benching S. Jackson for Webb.

Stars are aligned this weekend for the NFC North title coming back to ChiTown

Lets wrap it all up this weekend and start thinking about the Post Season. Hopefully we can score the division and thump the Packers from the playoff picture all in one fell swoop. A Bear fan can’t ask for much more short of Ditka giving mustache rides in the parking lot after the win.

White Sox fans need not apply.

by Bears-Cubs Bulls on Dec 18, 2010 5:43 PM CST reply actions

That is not a mental picture I needed.

Go Bears, 2010 NFC North Champions!!!

If you don't ask, you don't get. So get on with it already.

“who wants a mustache ride?”

Who's a better team ...

Lions with Stafford or Vikings with Joe Webb?

by iowaBear on Dec 18, 2010 6:51 PM CST reply actions

Lions' Stafford

MUCH better arm, far more accurate, and being armed with Megatron all made him a somewhat dangerous QB. Webb is quick, and thats all he has.

by Erik Christopher Duerrwaechter on Dec 18, 2010 7:39 PM CST up reply actions

That and AP as his RB

by iowaBear on Dec 18, 2010 8:01 PM CST up reply actions

Yes Webb has AP

But Webb ( unlike the Vick + McCoy combo) doesnt have an arm to respect, let alone fear.

by Erik Christopher Duerrwaechter on Dec 18, 2010 8:09 PM CST up reply actions

Then I guess we take 8 and ...

pack it up pack it in, let me begin!

And the fact is

The passing game wasn’t really good WITH Farve and as demonstrated against the Giants without Favre the passing game, and offense in general, is non-existant.

I came to win, Battle me that's a sin

Simply wonderful..

Adrian Pedestrian!! Now that's funny Mr. Bayless...

by Syndor on Dec 19, 2010 1:01 AM CST up reply actions

Dunno about that

watching him play his arm and accuracy is MUCH better than tjackson and stanton…..COMBINED…..

I want history to erase his every achievement.....I want him to feel the disgust in the bronco fans eyes when they look on him in shame....

Huh, I saw the opposite

Webb simply didn’t impress me at all, even with such little PT.

Bears control there fate...it's confirmed

As it sits now everything is in place for them to clinch Monday, if the Packers don’t lose tomorrow that’s one thing, but since it’s all but inevitable that they will lose, if the Bears somehow lose Monday night, then they don’t deserve to be in the playoffs. A third third-string QB inside of a month, a fledgling team whose season was lost months ago and is without it’s best QB. The Bears have to win to prove their worthy, if not, then we seriously need to reevaluate the team from Lovie to Cutler. Everything is in their favor right now. Can’t blow this one.

"I feel like the pieces are in place. But we have to execute...It's about execution. You have to execute. You have to have a scheme that facilitates the strengths of your players. If it doesn't, then it's a bad scheme. It's that simple. So we feel real good about the parts in place on offense."

"We feel very good about this football team. We felt very good about our football teams in the past and it's no different. You've got to go out there and you've got to do it."

sweet, we've got the division gift wrapped for us

Now all we’ve got to do is accept the present.

You're right, but somehow

I fear it won’t be that easy.

Gotta give Frasier credit

They have played alot harder than under Childress

I don't know how good Joe Webb will be as a Viking Quarterback

But he’s a pretty damn good detective.
