SuperBowl Shuffle II?

Well, now that the Chicago Bears are on a hot winning streak and Jay Cutler is confident that the team is going to the Superbowl and with this season being the 25th anniversary of the 1985 Bears championship team, would it be a little too pretentious and maybe even premature to suggest that the current Bears team make a new Super Bowl Shuffle video?

For those of you that doesn't know what the Superbowl Shuffle is (and you should be ashamed of yourselves if you are a Bears fan and you still don't know), take a look at this.

And since this is the internet age, perhaps we could help out our favorite athletes in regards to the lyrics. How do you think all the current Bears players would rap now? Here's some suggestions.

Brian Urlacher

My name's Brian Urlacher

I'm the middle linebacker

I'm the captain of the Cover-2

the heart and soul of the D, that's true

And if youre the opponent I'm coming right at you

Julius Peppers

I'm Julius, you can call me Pep

I'm a force of nature who can't be kept

I sack 'em high, I sack 'em low

But I never go for the low blow

That's why I'm going to the Pro Bowl

But not till after we win the Super Bowl

Jay Cutler

I'm the pouty QB, they call me Jay

When my rating is over a-hundred

We always win the game, hey hey!

Mike Martz

They call me Mad Mike cuz when I call the plays

So our offense goes all over the place

They say my plans are too crazy

But it makes opponents brains go hazy

Tommie Harris

My name's Tommie Harris you all know who

I was hurt before so don't say boo

but now I'm back, making plays on the line

Our D is the best, cuz we're doing just fine

Chris Harris

If there's gonna be any hittin' done

Just call on me, Chris the Hitman Harris

After I'm done, the opponent is gonna think he's in Paris

Lovie Smith

Hi Im Lovie and Im the Head Coach

And, I, er... D'oh!

We are the Bears, the new shufflin' crew

We made this new rap song just for you

We're not trying to be the 85 team

But we think we're just as good so we need to scream!

Okay, so maybe I shouldn't quit my day job (and my Photoshop skills are lame too but its the best I could come up with on short notice) but I think now is the time to make a rap vid. Its a good luck charm and it may be what will get the Bears to the Superbowl... and win it!
