yeah it's been a suckfest by everyone. Olsen has dropped passes, Jay made 2 idiot mistakes...
and the INT was bad but it was also a well jumped route. He made up for it by taking the team down for a score and he needs to continue to play smart football. I have no idea why the D can’t stop those slants and mid range passes…. Oh that’s because that’s the Cover 2’s weakness… Wonder how the Jets found that out

the Cover 2’s weakness, but it’s been exasperated today by the fact that we aren’t even making tackles.
When you play a passive Cover 2 like we currently are you have to be keep a shell intact. We’ve a metric shitton of 15 yard plays. Not exactly breaking the shell, but certainly destroying it’s effectiveness.
I expect a lot of adjustments, mainly of the “hitting Mark Sanchez a lot” variety.

This is why I love Cutler as a QB...
Not only does he have the arm that can make all the throws, and the legs to gut it out when he needs to, but he just doesn’t care about bad things that have happened. No hesitation after previously throwing a pick. Generally stands up brushes himself off and gives it another go after sacks. He just has fantastic poise, and I always feel good about him being on the field.
