Hahahahaha! Oooooh, MAN! Jeeez! All I can say is "WOW!" If you’da told me before the game that we’d have us a shootout, I probably would have laughed, because 38-34 kinda surprises me. However, I bet the fans really enjoyed watching the game, because it was an exciting one -- even more-so because we got the win. And winning is all that really matters at this point in the season. As long as you get that victory it doesn’t matter how you go about grabbin’ it -- You just GET IT.

Our offense did a tremendous job by putting up 38 points against a very good defense. Jay Cutler was phenomenal -- Matt Forte was great -- Johnny Knox got 2 touchdowns -- Devin Hester was amazing. All in all, the offense did a wonderful job. And it's a good thing did so well, because when we’re not doing our best as a defense, that’s when the offense is supposed to step up and pick us up, and vice versa. If they’re not on, it’s our duty to pick them up as a defense, so it works hand in hand. That’s why they call it a "team."

As a defense, we kinda bent, but didn’t break. The first half didn’t unfold how we wanted it to, but during the second half we came out screamin’ with a high energy level. We got our three-and-out in the first series of the 2nd half, and I thought that was HUGE for us. And then there was Rashied Davis’ play, which -- IMO -- stands as the turning-point of the day. It was an absolute game-changer that set us up to score on the very next play.

I’m so damn proud of the way this team fought. You know, we were down by a lot for a while, but we came back and got the win. And it was our turnovers that really helped us get back in the game. Anytime this season when we’ve been in *the plus* with our turnover ratio, we’ve won. And, this game we had a +1 ratio.

We’re still fighting for a first round bye in the playoffs and the number 2 seed. And all we gotta do to make those things happen is win against Green Bay, which isn’t gonna be easy. Our fate truly is in our own hands, not anyone else’s. So we’re going to put on our hard hats, go to work, try to get this win, and, hopefully, sweep the division, which would be oh-so sweet.

Until then, BEAR DOWN!!!
