It's flat out amazing that
Guys with Bear history are getting into coaching all over the league, many with great success… and none of them coach for the Bears (only Rivera was here for a stretch).
Now, I’m not saying we HAVE to hire guys that used to play with us… especially ‘85ers. But, when you look at Jeff Fischer, Mike Singletary, Leslie Frazier, and the Ryan brothers… and see them having so much success in this league. It makes you wonder why they weren’t even considered for jobs here along the way?

.
The Ryan family doesn't get along with the McCaskey's...
Even if we wanted Rob or Rex they still wouldn’t coach for us.
Don't forget the winning Super Bowl head coach.
He played for the Bears in 87
Ah yes... the replacement year.
LOL

Didn't Frazier coach for the Bears?

Nope.
He wanted to, but Lovie didn’t want him. So, he took a job as Asst HC in Indy, under Dungy… in the same damn defense, and beat us in the Super Bowl.
Dent coached for us for 1 year I think under Jauron. It was more of a courtesy than a football move. Dent wasn’t a good coach.

That's right
For some reason I thought he coached DBs for one year.

and
people wanted to trade away Hunty…I hope this really shuts them up. He was a great MIKE with the absence of Urlacher. We do need to find a real true FS but i like what we have so far..a safety, a DE, spellback, and oline and we should be good to go for 2010 season.
Bring back our honey bears...sick and tired of hearing about the dallas cowboy cheerleaders and the bars they go work at when they quit. cold weather + cheerleaders in skimpy outfits = lots of fun
DE
is the hardest position to find in the draft. There’s no way a 3rd or 4th project player will come in and be an impact player right away. If JA does what he always does, and doesn’t address DE in free-agency they’re in trouble. Although, I do agree about finding a guard, RB, and safety in the draft.

Jason Taylor – Round 3
Aaron Kampman – Round 5
