How can we not dump Vasher?
He barely sniffed the field last year. Even with our lack of depth he lived on the bench. Dump him, use that money for a new FA CB. He wouldn’t have to be very good to be step up.
It wouldn't surprise me
if we looked at drafting a CB this year in the 3rd or 4th. The CB draft class is very deep. Maybe even package Vasher into a deal?
What??...
That seems to make sense only in Lovie’s world. There’s arguably 3-5 other positions of much higher priority this offseason; namely DE, DT, FS, WR, LG/RT. It’s more likely the Bears would sign a backup CB in FA for cheap.
IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO FIRE LOVIE!
I just want one more year from Vaher.
Could he could be the answer at FS? That’s an interesting notion to ponder. He looked pretty good in that Sunday night game in Atlanta.
Or will Lovie finally give in by putting Tillman at FS? Vasher/Bowman at corner anyone?
Oh, Lovie! I sure wonder what is going on in that shiny bald head of yours.

Whoa. Hold it. Rewind.
The video to the right, sir. He only had one snap in that game.
This was that snap…

Not really.
Injuries and a bad line. You know, the usual.

If Rivera's absence had that much of an impact on Vasher's decline,
then the same should’ve happened to Tillman.

It's quite apparent now
that the D-line was mainly responsible for his “interceptor” days. Once the line started to falter, so did he.

HGH testing
I think the players union should work to come to some sort of agreement with the league regarding HGH testing. Granted the window of detection is currently small. Three days or less I think. The objection is to blood testing for this substance – the needle thing.

OMG needles.

People that are scared of needles need to buck the f@%^ up and take them like a man
When I was going through intake in the Marine Corps we had 5 shots at once.
Yeah
that’s the least of their worries…

Yet, that is the cover reason - the needle thing Dane.
I know it’s bs but hey, that is the latest rage.

Back when I was going through intake into the Corps..
..they didn’t use needles, they sliced our arm open with a Ka-Bar, dripped the stuff into us and closed us up with crazy glue.
I agree on the needle thing, by the way. Kinda like Pacquiao refusing to take tests because he’s afraid of needles, but the dude has tats. Go figure.

The worts thing about it was later that night the Drill Instructors played the sit down
stand up game for about 15 minutes with us, then we had to go run 1.5 miles for the IST with sore butts the next day… worst day of my life as a 19 year old.
I HATE needles!
And I refuse to take them like a man.. they hurt!! :[ But I have little veins that roll, so it’s never one poke, it’s like 5. Grrr….

Tecmo Bowl was awesome with Neil Anderson for the Bears
all you had to do was zig zag the whole field, and you could also throw goaline to goaline touch down passes.
I ran for 450+ yards and 6 touchdowns
with Neal Anderson once.
I had to get every kick off, run back to the 1 yard line. Then hand off and run outside the tackles.

but in super tecmo bowl III
you can unlock the greats and get payton, sayers, ditka, singletary and butkus on your team. That would have made one hell of a dynasty.
