Well

It’s no secret the Bears desperately need OL and FS help. I would like to see them get a veteran FS (Atogwe or Sharper) and use the 3rd and 4th round picks on OL help. I would really like to see them draft a RT in the 3rd and a LG in the 4th. The rest of the picks will probably be used on ST filler or possible projects. Hope this helps.

Forte holding on tothe ball?

Are you referring to fumbling, because he only fumbled 5 times last year. is that good? No. But its also not something I would quantify as far as the Bears major problems.

Also, at safety, we only will be looking at FS, not SS. Also, don’t count on the Bears picking a CB, unless they do so in the 6th or 7th, its not of great need. FS and OL are the big problems.

As far as Lovie, he is not passive on D. In fact the Bears blitz alot, as has been necessitated by having a poor front four. Now with Peppers things might be different.

Heres my opinion on ...

…. our draft options . IF we sign a FS in free agency then take it off the list period . In my opinion we go with the best player available for our third round pick , unless thats a QB . In the forth go Eric Olsen from ND . The fifth go Brandon Carter from Texas Tech and from there on go with the best player on the board .

And Forte has fumbled 5 times in two seasons . In comparision AP ( Vikes version ) fumbled 6 times last season . So really leave Forte alone .

It seemed like that

because he fumbled in some key goal line situations.

Also, when looking at Forte remember he will be getting less touches next year (less than half perhaps) because of Chester Taylor

Offensive Line - Offensive Line - Offensive Line

You could make the case for Offensive Line in both the 3rd and 4th rounds if we get a FS, and even if we don’t it’s more of a coin flip.

Basically no FA FS? BPA between T/G/FS. FA FS? BPA G/T in the 3rd, other in the 4th, and maybe DL or more OL in the 5th.

Did you delete me?

Sorry, last night his post came up with zero structure- the lines were all messed up, and with no punctuation it seemed like it was done by a 5 year old or a severely medicated individual.

I did delete you, and I also edited his post.

J-man is pretty open about his disability, and pretty passionate about his SBN blogs, so I really hate to see him catch any flack for his formatting or such things.

Just check his profile homie. :)

No problem at all

I didn’t get a chance to read your sig, but that shouldn’t matter for my poor form. Thanks for stopping by, and visit as often as you’d like. To finally answer your questions…

IMO- RT is the most important whether Omiyale shifts over there or it’s a draftee. As many know, Martz puts a lot of pressure on his tackles, so needless to say, that position is essential.

FS like you mentioned is the #2 need in my book. Now that Peppers is aboard, a “ball-hawking” FS would help the defense tremendously. Turnovers are what Lovie preaches!

Finally, Tommie returning to past glory- dominant play isn’t really needed, but consistency is.

Well

well Forte had 316 rushing attempts and 1 fumble in his rookie season.

This season he has 258 rushing attempts and 5 fumbles, but all year he seemed off.
