Spam Problem
I heard about this on Pride of Detroit.
Apparently, some posters have been going around, filling up various blogs with spam-like posts. One such poster has joined Windy City Gridiron.
I notified Adam T as soon as I saw this, but I have not yet been able to inform Dane Noble or anyone else with admin powers at this site to what is going on. The person whose profile I link to above appears to be promoting an etradelife based upon his comments.
If he joins any other blogs that I am on, I will create this post there, too.

One note about this:
The person whose profile I link to may not be the only spammer. He is, however, the only one whose profile I have a link to.
Who cares if he's a Cubs fan? This is a football forum! He is a PACKER fan as well. So, from now until March, I’m sure he’ll dedicate a lot of his time here. In late March, then we can be enemies during the baseball season. Besides, the Cubs have perhaps the most loyal baseball fanbase in the country. You have to respect that.

SBN got hit with a rash of spambots
and are taking steps to correct it. One of the things we did at WCG was create a 48 hour probation period for new members, meaning the bots can’t post during that time.
We have successfully nailed about a dozen of them, but in the meantime, if you see one, simply flag it as spam and move on.
Thanks broski.

You're welcome.
If I see anyone who’s spamming and who has joined WCG, I’ll send you or Adam T a message with the profile of the spammer in a link so you know who it is.

Sure, I can do that.
I did that several times at APC earlier today. They got hit twice this morning.

Even better than "flagging" them
would be to cut their achilles tendon when they’re not looking.

You could send that kid from Pet Semetary after them.
He did a good job taking care of Herman Munster.

Nice reference
I totally forgot about how scary that movie was for its time.

I hate used to hate walking too close to my bed after watching that movie.
That kid had to end up messed up in the head after making that movie.

And then he'll slice the ball the rest of his life
He’ll have to give up the game..
