Michael David Smith from PFT is reporting that the Bears have interest in dealing for the much-maligned Brandon Marshall. Follow me after the "jump" in order to see a couple of my trade scenarios, and what actually might work for both teams.....Denver Bears and the Chicago Broncos.
This is very unlikely to transpire, but worth mentioning because of Brandon's off the field problems, and Olsen's recent request for a trade. Who could the Bears offer in addition to Olsen? Well here's my idea(s).
- Greg Olsen- is only getting better, and with a little more coaching (McD is a great offensive mind) and seasoning he'll reach his ceiling, which is a top-3 TE in the NFL.
- Mark Anderson- a change of scenery and scheme may be just what the doctor ordered. He would look great as an OLB in the Broncos 3-4 scheme.
- Jamar Williams (interchangeable with Anderson)- if the Bears are reluctant to give up their young DE, he's the next logical trading piece. Last season he racked up a ton of tackles, and showed why the Bears had him tabbed as the next Lance Briggs. His size might be an issue in the 3-4, but his athleticism is unquestioned.
- 4th round pick '10.
Oh, can someone (Dane or other) please provide the PFT link and a nice action photo of BM? My extremely slow work computer won't allow me to do these simple tasks. Alright ladies and gents, have at it!
