...kicking off what will be a huge day at WCG!

The team's official site talks about the exit of Michael McCaskey, and the intro of brother George (2 links).

Brad Biggs at the Trib calls it a passing of the torch.

But, we should not forget who the true voice of the team really is.

David Haugh says that these "changes" aren't likely to make much difference.

More changes in the front office are coming, but Jerry Angelo says he will wait until after the draft.

Speaking of the draft, here's a list of unofficial prospects we might have on our Big Board.

Make sure to follow WCG on Twitter!

Star-divide

Despite not picking until the third round, Angelo eager to add more pieces through the draft.

And we are likely to see at least one defensive back chosen.

Let's take a look at Dan Pompei's Mock Draft.

And how about Sam Farmer's Mock Draft.

For the third and final featured Mock, Rich Gosselin's.

Don't forget... get all of your chores done early this evening.  WCG is kicking of the first of a three day draft binge, with Open Threads that will include live updates, instant analysis, and colorful commentary.  This will be a huge event, so make sure you check in early and often!

It's a little hard to get excited about the Bears' new Chairman

when that cheesy mustache makes him look like the illegitmate son of Virginia and Wanny.

Second time in as many years, this settles it
Safe spot: Angelo said left cornerback Charles Tillman will remain there and not move to safety with an eye toward preserving him.

He’s had two shoulder and two back surgeries in recent years and playing safety could expose him to more injuries.

Chuck Norris once met Dick Butkus and had a very odd feeling come over him. Chuck later realized it was fear

Here are some more names that the Bears have looked at not on the list

WR Eric Decker Minnesota

WR Taylor Price Ohio

OG/OT Zane Beadles Utah

LB/DE Koa Misi Utah (Link above)

WR Marcus Easley UConn

FS Anthony Levine Tennessee State

Saw that Decker kid play a few games this year

and I think he’s got a lot of promise. He was the Gophers only receiving option till he got hurt and I saw him take a lot of big shots and keep on playing. A good late round selection if available and if our needs are filled. Someone needs to step in and be the next Tom Waddle.

Agreed

Kinda of worried about the injury but Decker said he is ready to go….But most draftnik sites have him as a mid round selection (earliest late 2nd latest 4th)….Guess we will see…..

He broke his leg right? I don't remember exactly what it was but

I actually was watching when it happened and it was a nasty play.

Nope

was torn ligaments in his left foot:

The injury is known as a Lisfranc sprain, a tear of the ligament that holds his first two toes in place. He was hurt last week at Ohio State, while running a route toward the sideline when he tried to plant quickly and felt a strange sensation. At first, he thought one of his cleats broke off. Then he realized the problem.

“I put some more pressure on my foot, and then from there I knew something was wrong,” said Decker, who won’t be able to run for another five months

Had a decent pro day though from what I understand….

Ah yes. Thanks for doing the research on that for me.

Nice list

Decker will be gone before the Bears think about drafting a WR, and Beadles is a solid late 3rd – 4th round option
