A Closer Look at UDFA Signings

I have seen some lists, Fanshots, and discussions, so lets look closer at the post draft signings.

They also added Virginia WR Vic Hall

as a possible slot reciever…

Can somebody please replace Rashied Davis? Unless he has a Joaquin Noah moment…I don’t have much faith in ’shied anymore.

DMS Candidate???
proved to be an incredibly versatile player by starting at cornerback and quarterback, returning punts, covering kickoffs and being the holder on place kicks

Tim Walter

doesn’t have elite quickness and needs to work on his strength, but a few sessions in the weight room with Kreutz could turn the latter around speedily…could be a sleeper to make the team/practice squad

My sentiments exactly

He seemed to have a great collegiate career, and with a little work in the weight room (adding bulk/strength) he could be decent option on the PS.

what do you mean?

We’re set there, we have Josh Beekman, Lance Louis and Johan Asiata. Suh is trembling with fear.

+1

I’ll bet Suh is, maybe Lance Louis will hit him in the head and break his jaw or something.

Hmmm.....

does anyone else see a possible fight if Tommie and Lance practice across from each other? MMA in the NFL!

Totally,

let the big boys bring it. I just hope somebody gets it on tape and it makes its way to someplace that I can see it.

Scott seems like a beast

6’ 4’’ 224 Safety with 4.42 speed.
At least physically, he is great.

Seriously

I can’t believe some team didn’t use a 7th rounder on him. At the worst, he would provide some punch on ST coverage units. I hope he makes the team by beating out Steltz or someone just as sucky.

Bullocks

please let this kid beat out Bullocks. If Scott can at least stay on the same side of the field as Ryan Grant than he’s already the man.

Scott and Barnes...

will probably top the practice squad. Both will struggle to displace guys at their respective positions because the Bears have so many WRs and DBs on the roster already. I thought Barnes was a pretty good prospect, I’m surprised no team took a late round shot at him. IMO, he should be able to out compete R Davis for the last WR spot. Scott may find it difficult to make the roster because the Bears have so many DBs. If both Payne and Alfalfa go on IR, then he might have a shot. He seems capable of beating out Steltz, but I don’t see much beyond SS for Scott and the Bears already have way too many SS guys on the roster.
