Good to see Shaffer get some guard reps
but it’s better to see him not in the mix as a starter. He’s a swing tackle, but the extra work inside will only help with depth.

Congrats Blackhawks
If there is anything that is fitting to take the place of the Bears Den picture for a day, it is that.
Lifelong Arizona Cardinals/Chicago Bears fan [I have always lived in Arizona, dad is from Chicago].
I can't stand fair-weather/bandwagon fans, stick with your team, throughout the good and the bad. And don't switch to whichever team wins the Super Bowl each year.

I’d be satisfied with just being invited to DINNER in 2010.

I wouldn't.
You play to win the game, or so I’ve heard.
If I did what I love for a living, what would I do in my free time?

Certainly!
… But, with an entirely new and complex offense, I am tempering expectations to a winning season and a successful offense campaign.
If the Bears make the playoffs this season and have a top 10 offensive unit, I can only see the team getting better as the offense is fairly young and will get better with more comfort and experience.
If they don’t get the “matching cup” I won’t be disappointed. Just improvement.

Hahaha.
Nice. I didn’t even think of that connection. :] Clever.

That sounds like a “TMI”…..

Classy pic
Fills me with pride for what my teams have done and what they are capable of doing. I know there’s serious problems with the O line, the receivers and the secondary, but right now: I believe. Super Bowl!
