From the Tom Thayer Q&A
but one of the guys that I was most impressed with throughout the OTAs was Tommie Harris

I’ve never really noticed Tom Thayer being a robot for JA & Lovie. Thayer will rip someone if needed (especially Harris).

So for me, this is somewhat encouraging.

agree

i like thayer a lot too, in large part because of his willingness to say bad things about the bears when it is obvious. this is mildly encouraging indeed.

all reports are that Harris has been working his tail off

Ditto from me

I was going to post something about this, because TT where’s his emotions on his sleeve. It sure seems like a good indication that Tommie may in fact be close to 100% healthy again. We need him desperately!!

I was wondering

Tom Thayer-Where is his emotions on his sleeve. :)

If I did what I love for a living, what would I do in my free time?

Whoa

I missed that one when editing my own post. I guess I’m one of those guys. ;)

I just heard Rick Morrisey on Dan Patrick talking about LeBron...

Is he done bashing the Bears? The Tribune must’ve taken him off that assignment.

One thing I CERTAINLY like about Devin Hester at WR...

… Is his desire to GET better and improve at the position!

People certainly can find a lot of NEGATIVE things to say about his three years at the position, but no one commends him from actually putting the necessary work in to improve.

I don’t think he will ever be able to accomplish the feats of a Marvin Harrison or Terrell Owens, but there is no doubt in my mind that he will be a legitimate starting receiver in the NFL before his career is done.

No one can question his work ethic

I think he’ll put up solid numbers (barring injury)

Work ethic and drive is through the roof!

Hopefully, that is contagious this offseason for the WR unit.

Is there still going to be any questioning...

as to why the Bears decided to dump this pile of douche after this incident?

nice... I'm gonna steal that one
pile of douche

I'm not actually certain you can "pile" douche

But we weren’t sure you could “pile” feces that high until Benson came to town either.

One more incident and Benson may have a McDonald's application staring him in the face.

What’s funny is he pulled this crap while seeking a new contract which will end up saving The Bungles a bunch of money… CB is his own worst enemy.

Tommie Harris

I think what Thayer meant was it;‘s great to have him back on the field, but really though, this guy needs to play or other options need to be looked at for 3-Technique. He didn’t make my list of “10 most important Bears for ’10” because he’s just not on the field enough.
