lance is
quite the honest guy; shame he isn’t close with his dad.
on a side note i hope briggs and tillman still do regular appearances on the channel 5 pregame show at 1030 with joniak and thayer. seeing lance and peanut on tv has now become the traditional signal to begin drinking for noon games.
Old Spice.
Funny commercials, crappy cologne.
I guess Hester did better getting it as a sponsor over Stetson or Aqua Velva, which are the two others that completed my old man’s smelly-fragrance trifecta.
I’m on a horse.

Ahhh... Good ol' Brut.
He actually did have some of that, but didn’t wear it that often. Only on special occasions, like trips to Shoney’s or Golden Corral.

I know not what you speak of.

My after shave of choice in the early 70's was Hai Karate. Great commercials back then. Wonder if the still make it?
what about cobra gold?
that was this awful aftershave that they made us use in boot camp. think it doubled as a cleaning solvent.

No Sex Panther in the old man's collection?
If Mike Ditka punched you in the face, you'd have to fight off the urge to thank him.

… if it does orange and blue lights and plays “Bear Down” on command.
Any hints on the OSS for today or is it just a “wait and see you greedy greedy people you”?

Vincent Jackson Buzz
the intertubes are all a buzz that the Bears are in the mix for the Bolts to trade V Jackson. Is this good fit?

I don't see how V.Jackson really sits out the entire season...
Potential? Certainly!
Production-to-date? A year at the very most.
I would love to have him in Chicago, but I don’t see how you pay him for potential.
Maybe I’m missing something?

It's the offseason
We can make up whatever kind of rumors we want. For example: "The Kansas City Chiefs are nearing a deal with teen pop sensation Miley Cyrus to sing a cover of “Hurt” before every game in the 2010 season."

Schefter doesn't report straight rumors.
There’s definitely interest on the Bears part if he’s reporting it.

Is this a good fit?
Do you really need to ask that question? 6’ 5", consecutive 1,000 yard seasons, stays healthy, 27, plays in similar offensive scheme, and most importantly Jay loves big targets.
I love our wideouts and I’m always willing to go to battle for them because I truly believe that they will be a great group this season without V. Jackson but to me this is just a no-brainer. We could use that wideout that strikes fear into the hearts of our opponents, I don’t think any of our WRs have that quality currently.

Athletically
and productivity wise a Big YES! But what about the chemistry or a better word would alchemy. And, I understand the Charges offense is similar to Martz’s, but will Angelo able to sign him?

Will Angelo
“be” able to sign him. Even with the Preview option I still need a proof reader. Duh!

Isn't he pending a suspension?
He’s had 2 DUI’s.

I think us landing Jackson is a long shot...
but I would definitely be for it, especially since JA historically doesn’t draft WR talent like that.
Can't teach height.
I agree that his physical attributes and athleticism is VERY appealing to a team that doesn’t have a big receiver, but his stats don’t support what most WRs of his size and athleticism are doing on the field.
In 3 years he’s averageed receptions of 68, 59, and 41. Each year playing in 16 games. He barely eclipsed the 1000 yard mark in 2008 and for a player of his size on a team that loves to throw the football its a concern.
Am I saying he’s a bust? No.
Am I saying I wouldn’t want him in Chicago blue? No.
But, would I take him at a price tag of a Brandon Marshall as he is aiming for? Absolutely NOT!

No thanks
he is isn’t a special player…
In the 8th grade Mike Ditka won his school's Science Fair with a model of a working volcano. There were 17 other working volcano's made that day, but only one named Mount Ditka.

No, I thought we were going too move Manning to replace brad Maynard when he retires….

That's what I thought too
He’ll replace both Mannelly and Maynard, I don’t know what Lovie is thinking this time.
He's in the mix for LG too.
Just needs to bulk up more.

Why would you change fine wine to Pepsi?
Or anything else, for that matter.
