Windy City Gridiron Fantasy Football
So we had a bit of a misstep with our previous attempt. We are ready to go now. Let me know if you want to get in on this league. This league is free. If you are interested in starting more leagues we are able to offer a discount.
It's that time of year again. Time to sign up for some Fantasy Football. We are running through CSBSports this year.
CBSSports.com is offering us a 50% discount on our leagues, meaning each league we create will cost $90. A league will consist of 10 teams, so the cost to participate comes out to a measly $10 each. After that one is full, I'll batch the next 10 together for the second league, the next 10 for the third league, and so on. When you send in your fee to PayPal, in the memo spot let me know it's for fantasy football, and if you're willing to be a commissioner for a league. For every extra league we create, I'll need one person to be the commissioner.
So why do Fantasy Football through CBSSports? Well, I'll tell you.
Why use a paid league when others a free? Well, for one you'll be supporting SB Nation and BTB, and we are very appreciative of that. Also, CBSSports.com Fantasy Football Commissioner has some cool features.
- Customization of entire league...rules, scores, teams, +more
- Multiple draft options including auction drafts
- Ability to manage your league and team on your mobile phone
- Expert and user generated analysis
- Live chat/league instant messenger
- Fast and incredibly accurate live scoring
- Archived historic league data for future seasons
- See more here
Anybody who wants to join in, please do. I know you can play fantasy for free at plenty of places, but if you want to help us out a little at WCG, want to play with other community members, and experience a great fantasy football product, consider joining a league.

I'm down
"They say the glee team has lured straggler into sniper traps with cheery renditions of hit songs." "Really? And people fall for that?"
Decessions Decessions!
Trying to figure out if I should sign up for early Social Security Retirement,
…or my First Fantasy Football League :)
Um..
This league is free.

So… which is it? Or is something else free that I don’t understand?

I want revenge from last year
In like Flint
I always thought that phrase was
In like Flynn. In reference to Eroll Flynn’s famous entrances in early film. I could be completely wrong. I frequently am.
If you can't laugh at yourself you must not be very funny.
I remain a pessimistically hopeful Bears fan.
I thought that was the saying as well...
… so if you’re wrong, you’re not the only one. lol

not to be controversial...
But I use ESPN for most of the reason you chose CBS, except its free.

They go further, as their Auction Draft format now actually support Auction based free agent acquisition throughout the season as well. I play in a money league on CBS so I am not anti-CBS, but you can get the same if not better features out of ESPN. My money league is debating a 2011 or 2012 switch to ESPN right now.
oh and....
my point isn’t to not do the WCG leagues, but that maybe in 2011, WCG should look at espn?

Invites have been sent to those that specified they were interested.
We still have 2 spots open.
Clarification: This league is free. Any additional leagues, we setup will have a cost attached.
Being Who You Thought We Were Since 2005!
Can you send another email?
I don’t think I got the first.
Thanks.
