Hey Dane Noble,
Can u add these power rankings from SI as well?
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/writers/don_banks/07/27/precamp.3/index.html
Right.....They rank.......
3 teams that were 5-11 or worse ahead of us, yet in the comments talk about how we made enough moves to………
legitimately push the Packers and Vikings in the NFC North
Does this make any sense to anyone? Expertise my @ss!

Don Banks is a wannabe Peter King.
Which isn’t saying much.

He basically said the IF's have to come through
Which I agree w/, there are a lot of “if’s” surrounding this team. Regardless, the Broncos, Redskins, Jaguars, Seahawks, and Raiders didn’t do more in the off-season to better themselves then the Bears did.
WILDCARD BITCHES!!! YEEEEHHHAAAAA!!!!!
Sir,
You obviously undervalue the impact of a first round pick like Tim Tebow. (just vomited)

And that's my point.....
Every team in the league needs the ifs to fall their way for something good to happen. So what did the Raiders do to improve above the bears in the off-season? Did Al Davis remove himself from the decision making process?
How bout the Broncos? Is Brady Quinn or Tim Tebow the answer this year? I doubt Quinn will ever be the answer, and Tebow won’t be ready for years, if ever. The Seahawks?
The Redskins went out and got themselves a QB. That’s definitely an improvement. But they were 4-4 last season, and if they resided in the heartland instead of the east coast, they would certainly not be ranked above the Bears.
I’m just sick of the bias. How can a team be ready to push two teams ranked in the top 10 and yet be ranked 26th behind the ‘Hawks, Raiders and Redskins and only one spot ahead of the 2-14 Lions? It’s baffling to me.

The Raiders got a QB too.
I can’t stand the Raiders, their fans, their owners, but they did improve at the QB position a whole lot.

They definitely improved.......
But adding whipped cream to a bowl of crap doesn’t change the fact that it’s a bowl of crap. I actually believe the Raiders to be in worst shape than the Lions are. The QB position is definitely a need, and Jason Campbell is certainly better than Russell just in the fact that he actually care about being good, among the many other reasons. But that team is a long way from being a comnteder, and I’m not sure if players at any position are really going to make any difference. It starts at Al Davis, and trickles down through the front office and coaching staff. Until the culture of backbiting and failure is changed, you can trade the Raiders roster with the All-Pro roster and I doubt it will make much of a difference.
I’m starting to feel the same thing for the Raiders fans that I used to feel for the Lions fans. Pity.
