He's pretty good
I like Scott Strazzante too, but he’s more of a personal hero.
"I was interviewing George Halas and I asked him who is the greatest running back you ever saw. And he said, 'That would be Red Grange.' And I asked him if Grange was playing today, how many yards do you think he'd gain. And he said, 'About 750, maybe 800 yards.' And I said, 'Well, 800 yards is just okay.' He sat up in his chair and he said, 'Son, you must remember one thing. Red Grange is 75 years old.' - Chris Berman

shut up and get to work Tommie, you aren’t all that anymore… you may remember the lack of sacks/plays from seasons past, oh and punching someone in the facemask

Well, to be fair, he follows up with:
“I’m a vet, so I’ll take all the days they tell me I need to take off. No need to beat up my body in training camp. I’m looking forward to going through all the proper practices, but whenever Lovie says I need to sit, I will sit.”
Harris emphasized to Holmes that it is never his decision to watch from the sideline.
“I always go off by what the doctor says, or what a coach says,” he said.
I have to agree with Dane here, as much as I think Tommie is lazy and selfish as a player
when you read the entire article, I don’t see anything really out of line here. All veterans, especially those with a history of being injured, get more time off during training camps. As long as he attends everything and participates in accordance with the coaches’ decision, I’m fine with him not beating up his body more than he needs to at this time of year.
That said, I’m still not confident that he’ll “show up” consistently during the season. I hope he proves me wrong.
I agree as well
There’s really no need to put more “wear” on an important part of the defense. He knows what he needs to do; so long as he’s in good shape, I don’t care whether he takes some plays off to stay healthy.

Tommie
Tweeted some pics a couple of months ago. He was damn-near ripped.
"More cowbell" - Bruce Dickinson
"More bell cow" - Lovie Smith
Thanks
That answers my question!

Found it.
Idonije
coming in to camp at 265. Curious to find out Tommie’s weight. No way he’s still 295.
"More cowbell" - Bruce Dickinson

He looks great
Kind of like a brick-shithouse. Hopefully, his speed gets him in the backfield a lot more this year than the past few.

way to take the quote out of context
nicely done

from Urlacher
On the favorites to get to the Super Bowl: “I’ve got to say us.”
love the Kool-Aid he’s drinking

It's not drinking kool-aid.
Why would you ever say anyone but your team would go to the super bowl? Would you rather he say:
“Yeah, really, the Vikings are put together pretty strongly, and so they’ve got a really great shot to make it.”
Now bring me a Capri Sun, dangnabit.
If I did what I love for a living, what would I do in my free time?

other than TO you don’t really hear that kind of confidence, I love the Urlacher is a no nonsense player, and the Andrea Kremer thing after the Colts game was fantastic

If I go w/ HoneyBear I'll of course take pics
But I’m a photog so that should just be expected. My camera also does video so I could get some of that too. It’d be nice if I could get a press pass though :) or one of these: link follow up link

Having Schlereth
analyze, comment, dissect the Bears is like a Palastinian anchorman/woman covering the Isreali news.

I'm just glad the video of douchlereth doesn't work for me at the job.
