One way to look at Cutler's "frustration"
Is this really a bad thing. Seeing our D playing good is a great thing. Cutler isnt being hit like the story states. It would be frustrating to not be playing well in practice and anyone would understand that, but, our D is playing awesome from what I hear. Plus who knows what our O-line is really playing like going up against a D-line like ours? Only time will tell.
I didn't think that it was a hit against Cutler...
… I thought it just suggested that there is a “fire” lit underneath the two units and they both are playing hard in camp early on.
Jenson also noted a scrap yesterday between Beekman and Gilbert. That doesn’t mean that fans should rush to the defense of Beekman, does it?
Ha!
Jay Cutler will be fine and he doesn’t need fans to defend him at every twist and turn that doesn’t go his way. He’s a competitor and doesn’t like losing. Yesterday, the defense had his way with him and the OL. The coaches will set it up that the DL will have their day too.
That’s camp.

Aaron schobel might get released today
Should we? Most definately.
You can't see California without Marlon Brando's eyes.

That would be interesting T-Bone,
but you’d have to think the Texans would be at the top of the list. Plus, I don’t see Angelo doing anymore tinkering with the DL at this point.
Omiyale still sounds bad
It seems like there is more bad news about Omiyale everyday. He concerns me.
Good to hear that Tommie Harris appears healthy AND motivated.
Really Interesting Media Commentary Yesterday
In light of the potential Favre retirement news, both Seifert (predictable) AND Dickerson (somewhat surprising) wrote that they would still pick the Vikes to finish 2d in the Division even without Favre at QB. Are the Bears really that bad? I must be drinking the coolaid, but I don’t see it unless Tavaris Jackson has really improved since his last stint. If he is solid the Vikings are still a tough team loaded with veterans. But if Jackson is mediocre or bad, I’m not sure the Vikes even finish ahead of the Lions. The QB position is just too important nowdays in the NFL to think AD can carry that offense.
Wow, reply fail...
It doesn’t really matter what the “experts” say. I’d rather be considered a team that sucks and proves them wrong than a team that’s supposed to stomp people into the ground and goes 8-8.
There’s no way T-Jack can do what Favre can for the vikes, but as much as I suspect he’ll be back anyway, that ankle is going to slow him down. How long can he hobble around Peppers?
Easiest way to convince him to retire:
Send him a list of everyone who will be chasing him in the North alone.

Favre drama
I concur: Vikes minus Favre < Da Bears
Unfortunately, it sounds like Favre is coming back. He’s out there throwing to the high school kids again, and said that he’ll play if the ankle allows.
At this point, I’m just hoping that Peppers sends Favre into retirement for good.

Ewwww.
I’ll believe that he sent pictures of Little Ego to that TV host (Sturgen?) but that’s just… >_< Brain bleach please.

+1
to working “big fat liar face” into a Den and still managing to come off as professional.

Word is...
… The defense is drawing inspiration from the old “Monsters of The Midway” enigma of the 80s. They are wearing t-shirts and having the rooks sing “Super Bowl Shuffle”.
It’s good to hear the defense is taking camp and season preparation very serious.

... Also, I hear that players are saying that they are "playing to save their coaches jobs".

Quote of the Week?
“When people say (Devin Hester) is not really a good route runner, boy, that is ignorance at its highest level.” — Bears WR coach Darryl Drake.

Bruce helped Hester
I get the feeling that working with Issac Bruce has really helped to polish Hester as a WR. In particular, the advice from Bruce that not every part of every route is meant to be run at full speed. I think Bruce’s tutoring will work wonders for Hester. I won’t be suprised if Hester has 1,100 yards and 8 TDs this year.

Neither will I
I think 8 TDs might be a good over/under question, but 1000 yds in this offense is doable.
