I'm tired of all the happy talk.I'm not buying it until I can see them in pads and against an opponent. Call me cynical, but the stories are basically the same every year in TC.
They do have pads on during TC
Do you mean during real games? We’ll know more once the preseason games start along the offensive line.

BigG has a point..
I don’t think preseason will will show much either since the “starters” are usually kept out – that first regular season game will set the tone for the rest of the year for the team as a whole and the O line in particular.

I tend to agree
but we can’t totally dismiss play during training camp, because they are hitting each other, playing at full speed, and working in the “real” playbook on both sides of the ball.

You play how you practice
I wouldn’t disregard TCs that tough.
I agree that there are a LOT of reports that are out there and some of them are fabricated and a little biased, but there are some credible reporters out there that give a good feel of the team and who is performing and who isn’t.

true enough
I’m not discounting what the credible reporters say, they can be good sources of info.
I am thinking we all can’t wait to get this season started for real and hoping that training camp injuries are kept to a minimum.

Greg Gabriel of National Football Post comments on Devin Hester
Here are Gabriel’s comments after seeing him perform on Tuesday:
Hester’s Development
Devin Hester’s route running has improved.
I was impressed with Hester because of his route running. He looked like a veteran in Mike Martz’s route tree and his technique has improved. Hester showed the ability to use his eyes to sell routes, his footwork was solid, and was able to stem his releases to create separation and gain leverage on the DBs. In one-on-ones and throughout practice, his route running looked crisp and I saw a major improvement from last season. Very smooth in and out of his breaks. And, we got to see him align inside the numbers in certain situations—a position he should excel in against a nickel corner.
Michael Irvin saw him over the summer working with Isaac Bruce in Florida and said that he “will be the most dangerous receiver” on the Bears team in 2010.
I’ve always liked Hester’s work ethic under the scrutiny of so many Bears fans who want him to be a stereo-typical no. 1 receiver.
I think that he puts up a 1000+ yds this year and leads the Bears in YAC.
I’m excited to see what he can do.

Chris Harris on Bowman?
I hope he’s right, but I’ve read that the corners have had some mishaps when they are in Cover 1, which Lovie likes to run when putting pressure on the QB from other angles.
Bowman has to come up big this year. He just has to.

Olin Kreutz sighting!
I heard that Olin Kreutz is looking like the Kreutz we all know and remember these days.
I know the OL has been notated as being a problem area, but it is a new OL in terms of placement of personnel and offensive system. I am not really worried about the OL at this point of “training camp”. I think theyhave good chemistry and talent. It’s a matter of comfort and experience at this point.

probably true
…but I’ll be a believer when the first regular season game rolls around and I see if Kreutz has anything left in the tank.

Those are probably the hottest panties I have ever seen
The only problem I have with this
The girl looks like a pre-teenager. A mature 25 year-old would look a lot hotter!

I thought that too.
She does look like she’s 12. Lol
