Final Reminder for 2010 Survivor Pool!

Last year I posted about my survivor pool here and a few WCG readers signed up and played.  This is the third and final time I'll post on WCG this year to see if anyone else wants to play.  i think we're up to 4 or 5 WCG readers already.  The pot so far is up above $1500 and growing.  Read after the jump to find out what a survivor pool is and how to sign up.  With work being so hectic, I don't have time to manage a fantasy team so i started a pool like this as a much easier way to still stay involved with all the teams with a much smaller time and effort commitment.  Thanks for reading!

The rules, in a nutshell, are as follows:  Pick a team that you believe will win their week 1 game.  If you lose, you're eliminated.  If you win, you get to pick in week 2 and so on.  The last man standing wins the whole pot, which last year was just short of $2500.  Easy, right?  Well, there's a catch...you can't ever pick a team more than once the whole season.  The buy-in per entry (and you can buy up to 3) is $30 via PayPal or check.  The rules and signup info and payment info are right on the website - http://windycitypool.survivor.sportsfan.com.  Pass along to friends if you wish.

If anyone is interested and has any questions, please email me at windycitydeathpool@gmail.com for more information and the full rules (a few weeks have two picks, what happens with ties, pick deadlines, etc).  And FYI, all the money gets paid out and none of it goes to me.  Just thought some diehard Bears fans might find this entertaining.

Thursday is the deadline

…and we have gotten a good number of WCG folks on there. Thanks to those that signed up and I hope you have a blast playing.

The sting of losing in Week 1 runs deep.
