I'm not sure why Hester is catching hell for not blocking on that first play
It looks like they were both running routes, perhaps someone ran the wrong route, both routes nonetheless. So when Forte caught the ball Hester was still running his route not expecting Forte to be there. So I don’t think he was in position to make that block. But I could be wrong.
