I Agree totally

I can’t believe peppers over briggs myself.

I can easily see it.

It’s not like he’s a rookie…he’s a veteran player who’s come in, and by all players’ admissions, reinvigorated them and motivated them with his work ethic.

Plus…would you want to let him down?

If I did what I love for a living, what would I do in my free time?

if that's the Case,

then it sounds like Johnny Knox was snubbed…

You can't see California without Marlon Brando's eyes.

lol......
he’s a veteran player

i think you might have missed that part…………

Think that has more to do....

With representing 2 squads, rather than taking 2 players from the same corps, though I’m not sure.

yeah Briggs really stepped it up as a leader last year...

In the 8th grade Mike Ditka won his school's Science Fair with a model of a working volcano. There were 17 other working volcano's made that day, but only one named Mount Ditka.

Plain and simple

he’s a better player, and like DaHamsta said, the line is more important to the success of the defense.

How is he a better player?

and how can one even compare?

They play different positions, and Briggs has been just as dominant at his position as Peppers has been at his.

So that makes NO sense.

Apples to oranges my friend

All these guys better play their butts off

Especially Mannelly; the team’s entire season rides on his performance. We’re all counting on you…Striker Patrick.

not surprised

peppers has a reputation as being a lead by example player. briggs would have been my next choice for team captain had peppers not gotten it.

all 5 of these guys are exemplary leaders and should do well. go bears!

Anyone else still a little giddy

about having a QB everyone wants to be Captain?

Nobody who ever gave his best regretted it. -George Halas

I've been thinking that since Orton

Even though Moose was a great leader, it was quite a sign that Rex never got the nod as a captain even though he was the quarterback and the leader of the offense. Oh well.

He was last season too

I’ll be happy when Jay has the positive results on the field.
