That Tom Brady banner ad is making me queasy

What is with the hairdo?? It looks like he should be wearing a powder blue tux, ya know kind with the white ruffled shirt with blue piping on the ruffles…

I think Gisele is going a little too far in the image makeover. First, the goat pictures, then the Earth day light-bulb ad, now, the retro seventies swirly hair. Put on a helmet and play, Tom! And remember, American football doesn’t do WAGS!

OK, I see that I am cranky. Time for a vicodin.

I had ankle surgery (orthoscopic, a la Fav-rey) a week and a half ago, and these first three days back at work are KILLING me.

So I took a happy pill to help me be positive and up-beat instead of a snarky little bitch. :) It’s a win for everybody! But I still don’t like the Brady-Bundchen.

i have some oxycodone too

the doc prescribed 30 oxycodone (Percocet) and 30 hydrocodone (Vicodin). I try to save percocet for when i need to sleep, and vicodin for when I need to keep working/playing.

Oxy is DEFINITELY more effective though. But I wouldnt sign any legal documents on it though.

I know Sean Payton is a football genius

But i am curious why he didn’t go to that earlier in the second quarter after all the billion holding penalties/false starts.

And ladies and gentlemen THAT

is what is known as “half time adjustments”. I realize for many of us who have followed this team for the last several years this may be a foreign concept. But essentially, you look at what was working in the first half, look at the tendencies shown by the opposing defense, and the get creative in finding ways to counter act those tendencies. Don’t expect to see these “adjustments” any time soon….

So, in summary

Pierre Thomas looked good tonight.
Brett Favre did not look terrible, but lacking receivers makes it difficult.
And I am in semi-disbelief that Peterson did not get the ball more. Leaning on Favre is one thing, but that puts a lot of pressure on a receiving corps that is out of sync and lacking two huge playmakers in Rice and Harvin, as well as an already subpar and degrading offensive line.

Then again, I’m not complaining.
