Sign The "We've Got Your Back Jay Cutler" Post - Yo Hitman, It's Up To You To Make Sure Jay Sees This

I can't believe it's come to this, but evidently it has. Jay Cutler is one of the toughest guys on our team and folks are going to call him out for not coming back in the game with a torn MCL? Really?? Seriously?? Give it a rest. If not for Jay Cutler, we'd still be a 7-9 team with zero hopes for the playoffs .

Star-divide

I, for one, Mr. Cutler, have got your back. Anybody who's tough enough to even attempt coming back on the field with a torn MCL has my respect. So I implore you to forget all these folks bashing you (MJD didn't play when he was hurt now did he & his team was in a playoff race) and focus on all of us folks who know you ARE  our QB and that you would have given anything to get back in the game and lead us to the Super Bowl! Get well soon Jay and best wishes from the Chicago faithful at WCG!

P.S.  Mr. Harris you've got to get this to Jay to show him that we, the fans, think as much of him as his teammates do! And to you Hitman, thanks for going out there and giving it your all!

Jay,

You’re one tough SOB. Anybody who questions otherwise doesn’t watch you play. Despite what the idiotic/biased media says, Chicago has got your back and we know that you truly care about this city, this team, and this fanbase. The fact that this is up for debate is an absolute joke.

Lions fan. signs.

I have always liked Cutler, I like the fact that he doesn’t give the media what they want, and I also like his generally stoic expressions. He sticks up for his teammates when need be, just look back to his Denver days when Rivers was shooting his mouth off and Jay stood up to him. The man takes shot after shot from his Denver days to his days here in Chicago and just doesn’t miss games. If he could have played, he would have played, I don’t question his passion or drive to win at all.

Absolutely pathetic of what those players and tons of fan thinks that Jay is a quitter. Guy plays with the worst O-line, is diabetic, and he led this team to the NFC Championship game with one of the worst receiving cores in the NFL, and never threw his O-line or receiving group under the bus. What part of that ever shows any QUIT in him???

Jay Cutler in only two years is one of the best Bears QBs in history. I know that says more about the history of Bears QBs than it does Cutler, but the fact remains that he’s a good QB who can take us back to the championship. And with a better offensive line and receivers, he will.

It seems like most championship teams go through a moment of adversity, in which everyone rallies around one another, and pushes themselves to another level. Maybe this is that moment for the 2011 Bears.

Hell, I'm a Packer fan

And I’ve got his back – I’ve been through an MCL tear, and I can tell you that it’s really no fun. You feel like you should be able to keep running, but the moment you put the wrong pressure on the knee, it goes “pop!” again, and you’re back on the turf. Anybody who still says Cutler is soft after hearing about this injury has no idea what the hell they’re talking about.

   Simple logic:
1) He’s a tough SOB.
2) He’s a super competitive SOB.
3) He’s a Bear.
4) He knew full well he’d take a pounding in the media, and It would have been easier to die on the field, than to (have the appearance of) let his team down.

I do not question your heart after coming back from a concussion in 2 weeks.

Winning solves everything. It’s why Rapelessburger is still a media darling. It’s why Vick is considered “redeemed”. It’s why Favre keeps getting to trot his old behind in front of the media. Win, Jay Cutler. Win, win, and continue to win. And the haters will stop.

WTF, jay, you’re a tough guy and a stoic, something that most people in todays “point the finger” society don’t seem to understand. You are without a doubt the best quarterback the Bears have had in decades, and I am actually sorry and surprised that you’ve had to deal with all this crap. Peyton M would have bitched about his O line after every game had he taken a quarter of the hits you’ve had to endure this year. Sad truth of it is, most of the doubters were probably molesting they’re kids at the end of the second half. They said you were going into the locker room early before the half, saw you getting the crap kicked out of you, but none of them had any inkling that you might be injured? amazes me. You toughed it out the last two years, give us another, and F the fans right in they’re ear.

Love the way that the Leader of our team came out and stuck up for the Offensive leader of our team. Lets not run the best QB we have had here in a long time out of town.

YEEEEEAAAAAH!!!! GO!!!!! HESS!!!!! GO!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! JUMP THAT MOTHER^*^*^*!!!!!! O MY GOD HE IS BACK!!!!!!! - My reaction to Devin Hester's punt return on Monday, 9/27/10

Our Papa, Who art a Bear, Hallowed be thy fame, Thy championship come, Thy play be run, At home as it is away, Give us this day our Sunday win, And forgive us our turnovers, Though we pounce on those who turnover against us, And lead us not into fourth and long, But deliver us from Rodgers. In the name of Ditka, Butkus and the Holy...... Payton. As it was in 1985, so shall it be in 2011, reign without end.

Jay played a whole season before he was even aware he was diabetic, and he was still getting up after getting pounded to the ground. There may not be anyone tougher is my opinion.

I agree with this...

And it brings up an important point that I think is missed. The hit job backfired. A lot of media types who are usually down on Jay came rushing to Jay’s defense. Fans are dripping with sympathy. And I’ll bet Jay comes back better than ever next year with the extra motivation.

So all these douches really did in trying to bring Jay down was reinforce our support for him and give him even more motivation for next year. And though we don’t play Jacksonville or Arizona, I can’t wait for Jay to take out his frustrations on Brock and the Seahawks.
