*NOTE:  This post is intended to be humorous, so if you lack a funny bone stop reading.

On many occasions in the hallowed comments sections of WCG many references are made about the above titled individual.  Many of you have blessed Manu with the title of "manatee"

Star-divide

Now I ask you is that fair to the beloved sea cow?

Well folks I say no, no it's not fair for a professional athlete to be referred to as a manatee.  We are all (or most of us) adults and we should show that man the respect he is entitled to.  The man has spent 10 seasons in the NFL, that is a feat in itself so we need to take our sophmoric humor and can it and leave the silly nicknames for the playground.

Good, now that we've gotten that out of the way I stumbled upon something interesting and I wanted to pass it along to all of you.  We all know that Manu is a well versed TE and excells at blocking, that alone justify's his 15 million, 6.1 million guaranteed contract.  Here is a real link to his career, look over what he's accomplished and try to convince me he's over paid. Well, what many of you don't know is that being the best damned blocking TE next to Greg "Charmin Soft" Olsen isn't the only thing that Manu excells at.  So allow me to be the first to enlighten you as to who Manu really is.

In addition to his numerous NFL accolades, Brandon Manumaleuna is a world class boxer.  I'll let you digest that statement for a moment.... do you still doubt me?  To further prove this claim I have added his "fighter photo".

How many of you recognize him now?!?!  I'm sure many of you just had that "OH DITKA" momment in realization that you knew it was him all along but were never really sure.  Here is some background on Manu as a boxer.  Here is his first championship title defense. Here is his latest title defense. Did you click the link?  Some mind blowing info there is it not?  So I beg of you WCG community please lay off of the manatee comments the man has proven himself more than able to avoid boat props. All I ask of you is if you'd like to label a man the caliber of Brandon Manumaleuna that you use a name that he truely epitomizes....

Ladies and Gentlemen I give you King Hippo.

All hail the king!

Thanks.

I believe Kev H coined the phrase and well as you can see I ran with it.

What phrase did I coin?

If I did what I love for a living, what would I do in my free time?

what took so long?

If you go in the bathroom, turn off the lights, and say "Da Coach" 5 times while facing the mirror... Ditka will appear and slap the wussy right out of you.
