Week 6 Injury Report Vs Vikings
The Bears' injury report had a little unwelcome activity this week, as the big headline is Julius Peppers being downgraded to Doubtful with his knee injury. Combined with Corey Wootton's broken hand and Matt Toeaina's knee, it could be a very thin defensive line corps taking the field on Sunday night.
As for the Vikings, Jared Allen has an eye issue! ... But it probably won't keep him from pursuing Jay Cutler like a feisty bloodhound. More likely to miss the game are Antoine Winfield, doubtful with a neck injury, and Percy Harvin, questionable with a rib injury.

Doubtful: CB Antoine Winfield (Neck; Did Not Participate)

Call me crazy
But I`m gonna say Winfield`s injury is a bigger hit for theYikes than Peppers is for the Bears.

Broke it in practice last Thursday prior to the Lions game.

Bears could be sandbagging Peppers status ala Favre last year
Hadn’t thought of this before, but doubt this is the case. Link pops.
If its free, take two.
Sucks to lose Pep but he hasn't really been dominant
Hopefully getting Bennett back helps though! I just hope we don’t play like crap and make it an actual close game!!
Jay Cutler is still my quarterback.

How bout a blowout, kick-ass game of football
just to show people that we DESERVE 3rd place in the NFC North.
threats
who this sunday is the biggest threat against the vikes? i am hoping that it’s Forte. i hope he gets the most rushing yards for a rb this season. combined with the most receiving he has had in a single game. why? so he can shove this no brainer of getting more money from this organization.RANT OVER.
We'll finally get to see Muscles Paea ...
… now we see what we passed up Moffit and Leshoure for. But we’re the 28th ranked rush defense up against an in-form AP. WE can’t stop him. THey have the 4th ranked rush defense. They’ll stop Forte. Leaving us with ….? Cutler to Forte and Bennett at least. Will it be enough, when we eventually get the ball back?
Peppers will make a last ditch effort to play
Bennett may return. But, I’m not holding my breath.
Overall, we have to win this game. Enough with the excuses, time to put up or shut-up.

Nothing about “feeling” how [insert name of underwhelming player here] will put it together all of a sudden and have a dominant game? Now I’m worried…

Yea yea
Damn I just can’t say anything else about Meriweather or REW at this point.
If I were the HC/GM right now… >.<

Come to the Dark Side, you have…

Not yet...
Its tempting with all the cookies offered, but…theres still time!
The last stunt I can pull with Meriweather is that Chris Harris was a far better player after the bye last season. The same can happen for Brandon.
There is still plenty of football to play

I'd just like to see...
the Bears play well across the board. No more stupid penalties, no more confusion and missed assignments, no more hesitancy. If the Bears just play hard an lose I’d be happy these days. But to play like crap and still lose is no longer acceptable. The disorganized crapfest this Bears team has become is truly a joke of unfunny proportions. It starts with Lovie and makes its way down to the players. JA and the rest of the FO is completely useless now (beyond being incompetent). It’s up to Lovie and his players. Lovie and his coaches need to have a cohesive game plan, not hopes of good execution or run the Tampa2 and hope it works. A real, live, honest to goodness, plan to attack the ‘queens offense and dominate the ’queens defense. With this plan, the players can simply concentrate on executing their assignments and making plays. I don’t care who is hurt, if they can play then play and if they can’t they need to sit down and get themselves ready to play. Just do your job and the rest will work out.
