I hate the Bears (and the Blackhawks for obvious reasons). But mainly the Bears. I probably hate them more than any other non-NFC East team. No offense to any of you personally, of course, as I actually love your city. I'm sure a bunch of you hate the Eagles. We should hate each other's teams. I mean... We play each other seemingly every year. It's almost like we're division rivals Last year, you won. In '09, we won. '08, you. '07, you. OK, so maybe I should hate the Bears more than you hate the Eagles. We get you guys coming off your bye, but I think I'm just happy that the Eagles don't have to play on that atrocious mess of a surface that the Bears (or the city or whatever) try to pass off as a legitimate NFL field.
But I digress. Anyway, I'm JimmyK, writer for Bleeding Green Nation, and we have kind of a crucial game this week, as we usually do every year. From my perspective, you guys have no shot at the division, making this game even more critical from the standpoint of simply keeping pace with the likes of the Detroits, the Tampas and the Atlantas out there. Meanwhile, Philly already wasted most of its margin for error on the season already by racking up 4 losses in a row, and our path to the playoffs is probably only through the crappy NFC East title, and we're already 2 games behind the Giants. Again... kind of a biggie on Monday.
So fire away with whatever questions you may have about my birds, and I'll do my best to answer them all. Cheers.
