Chicagobears.com confirmed today that quarterback Jay Cutler will require surgery on his right thumb after injuries sustained during Chicago's big victory against San Diego.
The team has declined to mention exactly when surgery will occur, nor do they currently have a timetable for his return, yet they remain optimistic he may be able to make a late regular-season return.
We'll update this post with any news that comes out of the 12pm press conference.
