With all this talk about Roy Williams being the Starscream to Calvin Johnson's Megatron and ECD among others trying to come up with Transformers analogues, I figured it was high time to put together a definitive list. Should be a good way to combine my childhood love of giant robots and football, which until now was only fulfilled by the dancing one on Fox. (Links pop)
Roy E. Williams as Starscream

The one that started it all, on WCG at least. He truly is second fiddle to Megatron in both Football and the Transformers. Conniving, easily detestable, but every now and again will show you he can be quite competent. I'd love to hear REW yell "Pathetic fools! There's no escape!" after catching a TD...then shoot himself in the foot like Starscream did.

Gruff, tough and absolutely no quit in him. He may not be the easiest Bear/Autobot to get along with, but he stays loyal and delivers in the clutch. There's a reason Optimus depends on this guy to be a leader on the attack. He's one of the only 'bots beside Optimus that take the military-grade Decepticons in a one-on-one fight.
Matt Forte as Jazz

Smooth, speedy and cool to the core. Throw in Matt Forte's New Orleans background and he's the perfect fit for Jazz, they even have the same shade over their eyes. Between his prank calls to MJD and his mic'd up in London, he always struck me as a laid back guy. Jazz, in turn, is one of the most approachable Autobots.
Earl Bennet as Bumblebee
Too small? Too slow? Who cares? Even if Earl Bennett doesn't fit the physical profile of a number #1 WR for the Bears, he fills the role just fine with sure hands and an incredible third down track record. Just like Bumblebee, he'll deliver when you need it the most.

Fast, cocky and a tad flaky. Sunstreaker is one tough Autobot to work with, just like Johnny can quit on routes and flinch at going up for a jump ball. At the same time, they can make some of the prettiest plays on the (battle)field.

Strong, rugged and never one to shy away from contact, in fact, they seem to relish the chance to pound opposing defenders/Decepticons into a pulp at every available opportunity. It's always good to have a guy like this around to grab the tough yards/chuck Shockwave into a wall.
That does it for my first WCG fan post. If y'all enjoy it I'm gonna try to do some for the defense, the blockers on offense, special teams and maybe even the coaches.
