Week 13 Injury Report
This week's injury report can be summed up in two words: Out (for the Bears) and Probable (for the Broncos). And that's all, goodnight everybody!
No, but seriously, there isn't a whole lot on the Bears side that we don't already know. Anthony Adams, Charles Tillman, Brian Urlacher and Henry Melton all showed up on Wednesday, but Melton was removed on Thursday and Adams, Urlacher and Tillman vanished from it on Friday. So it's just Cutler, Forte and Major Wright, and we know the story with all three - out, with varying breaks, tears and shoulder injuries (what?).
On the Denver side, things are still a little tricky, but not much in doubt. Von Miller was questionable earlier, but has been upgraded to probable since. Remaining questionable, however, are RB Willis McGahee (Knee) and WR Eddie Royal (Concussion), but McGahee has vowed to play this one.

Out: QB Jay Cutler (Thumb); RB Matt Forte (Knee); S Major Wright (Shoulder)
Questionable: RB Willis McGahee (Knee, Limited Participation); WR Eddie Royal (Concussion, DNP)
Probable: S David Burton (Achilles, FP); OT Ryan Clady (Knee, FP); LB Von Miller (Thumb, FP); S Quinton Carter (Heat Cramps, FP); RB Jeremiah Johnson (Ankle, FP); DT Mitch Unrein (Back, FP)

Ugh I just hope
that Von Miller and freakin’ Elvis Dumervil don’t kill us.
Jay Cutler is still my quarterback.

No real surprises here
Hopefully Forte heals fast. And I wonder how Cutler is progressing in his rehab? Last I checked his stitches are out and he already started on trying to grip footballs. Not sure how long it takes to start throwing, though..
Jay Cutler is our QB, and I for one am proud of that

I wouldn't expect him to be remotely capable
of playing before the GB game. And even then I think it would be a surprise.
He mentioned having to grip a ball so they knew how to adjust the screws when they aligned the bone, but I haven’t seen anything beyond “rehab has started” when it comes to progress.
Even if Jay makes it back before the final game of the season, he’s going to (most likely) have reduced throwing strength and will be damn rusty.
Incapable..but

This is a whole lot of ugh.
I’m kind of football depressed cause I won’t have the chance to see Cutty and Forte play live.
Instead, I get to witness Hanie and Barber suck it up. Not only that, but I expect to get hassled by Bronco fans. Luckily my wife is one of them.
