Some cheaper and proven offseason additions.

If you take a look at next years Free Agent class its not looking too bad. But we as fans have to be realistic in the fact that if Mr. Angelo and Company are still around, there shouldn't be a huge splash in Free Agency. But I did a little searching and wondering how we could afford to get one big name free agent, and a few other starters for a cheaper price.

Lets just say for instance that we end up with a big name Reciever like Jackson, Bowe, or Colston. Obviously we would hav to pay them a pretty big chunck of change to come to Chicago. That being said, The Bears could bring in some much needed help and maybe a few starters or a bargain. Let me show you a few other players I personally wouldnt mind seeing in a Bears Uni.

WR- Harry Douglas - I know that he will most likely stay in Atlanta, but I think he would be a solid pick up for a number 2 or 3 option and for a really good price. Douglas has raised his game this year and he is creating notice amongst analysts.

LB- Dan Connor - A personal favorite of mine, Dan Connor is a solid linebacker who just hasn't had much of chance until Beason got injured in Carolina this year. Connor could come in and start right away or be a solid 3rd or 4th linebacker.

DB- Terrell Thomas - I would really love to see Brandon Carr with the Bears but realistically, I see Thomas as a possible upgrade to our subpar group of DB's. Thomas will be coming off an injury but if he's healthy, I say pull the trigger.

OL- INSERT NAME HERE - Almost any 4-6 year vet would be an upgrade for us. Although there are a few top notch players available, we will not be able to afford most of them. So anyone but Gate 68 would be good with me.

DL- Amobi Okoye - Hear me out on this one. We've already seen him play exceptionally well this year in a more comfortable defense. He'll have a complete offseason to work with Marinelli and he will stay for a reasonabe price. I would welcome him back with open arms.

QB- Chad Henne- Its hard to find a really good backup in next years class of QB's but Henne has starting experience and can win games. He may also lose them but last time I checked Hanie is 0-4. Ill take Henne over Hanie anyday.
