Chicago Bears Show Interest in Will Hill

Stay connected for news and updates

The Bears, along with others, including the Minnesota Vikings, Houston Texans, Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens, have shown interest in the University of Florida Safety, Will Hill.

The Bears safety situation can be described as in flux to say the least for the last number of years.  The 6' 1", 207 pound Hill projects himself as a free safety.

In three years at Florida, Hill has 144 tackles and 4 interceptions.  Hill is projected around the 4th or 5th round.

His listed strengths are:

* Good combination of size, speed and strength

* Big Hitter

*  Excellent Special Teams Player

Weaknesses:

* May be injury prone

* Needs to improve tackling

* Lack of experience

This guy does sound like a Jerry Angelo pick.  Late round addition, who can help immediately keep our special teams ranked high.

What is your take on the pick?
