Commettiee wants to punish teams whom can win games on special teams alone & punish players who are special teams stand outs ( say like Corey Graham , Garrett Wolfe , Brendon Ayanbadego & others ) . This new rule seems to take special teams for granted and as a whole the Comp. Committee seems to want to eliminate that phase of football all together . And your right this rule will cost players & coaches jobs .

What I can’t figure out is what the owners’ real motive is. The only conclusion I can reach is that these changes are simply a fig leaf – something tangible but insubstantial for them to point to as a good-faith effort to improve player safety when in the next breath they’re asking you to play 18 games.
