Cameron Jordan, DE, California - And here's Just Dave's take on his selection for N.E.;
Ok, in the world of reality I think New England will be trading this pick. They don't have any major, pressing needs that can't be addressed by trading down and acquiring more picks for next year. Plus they have established this as their MO. But for the sake of this mock I'll be making the pick here. So with the 17th pick the New England Patriots select Cameron Jordan, defensive end from Cal. New England's pass rush last season left a bit to be desired. Cameron Jordan is the best talent available on the board and fills in a need for the Pats here. This guy's a proven pass rusher and should give their line a much needed boost. I wouldn't be shocked if they went offensive line or linebacker here either and as I stated before, trade is a real possibility, but if push comes to shove, this is the pick I think they'll make.
Next up is Steve Ronkowski making the selection for San Diego. Make sure you tell us how we're doing by voting in the polls that accompany each mock draft choice.
