Trade Bait
Here is my list of potential trade bait with their worth: Offense Brandon Manumaleuna 4th-5th rounder Lance Louis 4th-5th rounder Chris Williams 3rd-4th rounder Defense Marcus Harrison 4th-5th rounder Tim Jennings 4th-5th rounder Craig Steltz 5th-6th rounder

I think Jennings is the highest value of anyone
I don’t see anybody else worth anything… Kevin Payne started a season for us at Safety and did solid work and we couldn’t get anything better than a conditional 7th rounder for him. No team would ever trade for Harrison, Manu or Steltz when they could find comparable quality at the end of the draft or UDFA

I gotta agree with Thor, here, Israel.
Jennings might net you a late round pick, and possibly Chris Williams from a team that might (possibly rightly) feel that the Bears failed in developing the former first round pick.
But Steltz, Manu and Louis are highly doubtful to get even a conditional 7th rounder and Harrison will probably be on a coach very soon watching the games on Sunday just like the rest of us.

Marcus Harrison plays on the Bears?
Oh, I didn’t notice.

Neither did anyone else.....
which is why nobody is giving up a 4th or 5th rounder for him.

And just while we’re on the subject, can we get anything for Omiyale?

Probably a late rounder....
But he’s worth more than that to the Bears as a swing tackle. He played well last year and provides an insurance policy in case either Camiri or Webb isn’t, to steal a phrase from Denny Green, who were thought they were.

And by "played well"...
I mean in respect to the rest of the line. He wasn’t fantastic. He was decent.. But his versitility is worth a lot more than a pick. He can play both tackle and fill in at both guard spots.
Say the Bears DON’T go out and get a replacement for Chris Williams. Say Chris Williams, who showed improvement towards the end of the year at the LG spot, tanks completely. Omiyale is capable of stepping in and replacing Williams (yet again) and giving the Bears a chance to succeed. In fact, it wouldn’t surprise me to see Omi end up starting at LG over Williams. I’m not saying it wll happen, or even that it has a great chance of happening. I am saying that I wouldn’t be shocked.

Bottom line....
whatever we would get for Omi wouldn’t likely be enough to replace him, so it wouldn’t be worth it. Best backup we will have at 4 line spots……

Lance suited up all 16 games last year...
I don’t believe he can go to the practice squad. He only played in 4, but he suited up for 16. I’m pretty sure that means they can’t stash him on the PS again. I’d look it up if I had time, but I don’t, so I have to go by memory, but I believe that a PS player cannot have any accrued seasons in the NFL with more than 8 games on the 45 man active roster.

My guess is nothin’,….They all get cut, sorry. Or maybe someone is desperate enough to inquire about Jennings.

None of those guys...
are “tradable”. Mostly because they do not have value to other teams beyond the value they have to the Bears. Any team in want of their services is likely to wait until the cuts begin or seek better talent elsewhere.
